With a face scan in NBA 2K25, you can literally be a part of the game. So here’s what you need to know about it.
For the most immersive MyCAREER experience in NBA 2K25, scan your own face onto your MyPLAYER. Doing this is quite easy; you just need to get the MyNBA 2K Companion app downloaded onto an iOS or Android device that supports it. This feature isn’t exclusive to the basketball simulation franchise; 2K’s WWE series also makes use of the same technology.

Some Tips to Make Your Face Scan Perfect in NBA 2K25
Players have often complained that the Face Scan feature in 2K’s NBA series doesn’t get their faces right. However, you should note that there are some requirements you have to meet to take the perfect photo with this feature. If any of the conditions listed below are not met, your Face Scan may not produce the results you expect. Again, the following tips have been provided by 2K themselves:
- Your face should get as much lighting as possible from the front, and it should be even, without any shadows.
- Keep your phone about 18″ away from your face and at eye level.
- While rotating your head, keep it slow, moving no more than 45 degrees. Also, remember to always look forward while rotating.
- When rotating, you should do more than just point your chin from side to side.
