Well, they’re basically animations that affect how your MyPLAYER moves, controls the ball, or shows off their skills in the court. These are also completely free and you can equip them at any time, provided your player meets the height requirements.
So, the simple way to figure out which animation is the best is to compare their speeds. The fastest animation for your build is the best, as this will impact your player’s pace while sprinting without the ball.
With that in mind, here are the best Motion Styles in NBA 2K25, based on the height of your build:
Extra Tall Builds (Over 6’9″)
If you’re preparing a big man build in NBA 2K25, there are two great options when it comes to the best Motion Styles. Nikola Jokic and Deandre Ayton are tied for the fastest Motion Style, so choose either one.
Tall Builds (6’5″ – 6’9″)
The 6’5″ to 6’9″ height range is the most popular, but you don’t have a lot of options here. Drew Eubanks has the fastest Motion Style, which is only slightly ahead of Deni Avdija’s Motion Style. You can choose either, as the minor difference won’t have much of an impact.
Shorter Builds (Under 6’5″)
You’ll still get two options if your MyPLAYER has a guard build in NBA 2K25. The fastest Motion Style here belongs to Alex Caruso, but Bradley Beal is quite close and will have a similar impact on gameplay.
