The Almagest is a floating space station in the Olympus star system. Much like any other uncharted location in Starfield, Almagest is filled with hostiles that are ready to shoot those who dare trespass on their territory.
However, Almagest is a place that you will find quite easy to deal with, even in the opening hours of the game. Most of the enemies in Almagest are level 8. And hence, they aren’t particularly challenging to defeat. However, once you deal with all the regular mob enemies, you will have to contend with a level 22 boss. Suffice to say, the boss can be quite challenging, especially if you stumble upon Almagest pretty early in the game.
Apart from the rather bizarre difficulty spike, Almagest also contains a hidden treasure called the “jackpot backend.” However, to get the contents of the “jackpot”, you will first need to find the codes to unlock it. Where to Find the Almagest Jackpot in Starfield
Almagest can be found as a floating space station in orbit around Nesoi in the Olympus star system. The Olympus star system is pretty close to Alpha Centauri. For reference, the location is slightly to the southeast of Alpha Centauri. Once you reach the Olympus star system, you will be able to view Almagest pretty easily. Almagest is essentially a casino space station that’s roughly at the center of the Olympus star system. Once you lock on to Almagest, simply fast travel to it and land at the designated dock.
Once you land on Almagest, head straight to the bar area, and take a left. The room to the left has a square-shaped entryway. However, it can be a bit hard to discern the entryway as it’s partially obscured by a safe door. Head inside the entryway to reach the Almagest Jackpot Backend. Additionally, in the same area, you will also find a handful of contraband and rare crafting material.
How to Obtain the Almagest Jackpot code
The code for the Almagest Jackpot is on a computer in the same room as the three locked safes. However, to reach the computer with the codes, you first need to get past the bar area and fly up above in zero gravity. Once you reach the room above, you will find the computer in a corner. Interacting with the computer shows the Jackpot codes as 12, 19, 36, and 5. There are also some loot crates nearby that contain medpacks, ammo, and crafting resources. Once you have the codes, simply enter them in the Jackpot Backend to claim your prize – 3,600 credits.
