Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is now out, allowing players to once again relive their childhood and fill the shoes of Son Goku (and others) in their quest to protect Earth and be the strongest warriors. Along with the game there has been a flurry of mods that seek to improve what is already a critically acclaimed experience. The mods range from something as simple as performance boosts to new (unexpected) characters.

1) Unlock FPS Mod
The Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Unlock FPS Mod, much like its name suggests, unlocks the game’s framerate. Uploaded by user zettochu on NexusMods, the mod allows you to experience Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s frantic and fast-paced battles with no limits or restrictions.
2) DB Sparking Zero Minimalist Trainer Mod
If you’re a player interested in duking it out in offline split screen battles against a friend, we highly recommend downloading the DB Sparking Zero Minimalist Trainer Mod. Currently, the game only features one arena for offline split-screen play. Uploaded by user zmodsalt001 on NexusMods, the mod “allows the use of every main stage in Local Multiplayer” and does so without affecting performance.
3) All Characters HPx2
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s fights are fast-paced with minimal room for error. Many of these fights also often end seemingly prematurely, right as you’re beginning to sink your teeth into the action. All Characters HPx2 Mod uploaded by Gantz79 on NexusMods doubles the character HPs and allows you to duke it out for longer.
4) Let’s Fight Somewhere Else (LFSE) Mod
We’ve seen the “Let’s fight somewhere else” meme before, but now LFSE comes forth once again as a mod for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. The mod, uploaded by Sora101Ven on NexusMods, brings in a fresh change in scenery and allows you to play on new maps. The mod enables access to maps you cannot normally fight in, like Story Battle Maps, Cutscene Maps, and Menu Maps.
5) All Items in Shop for 1 ZENI Mod
This item, as the name suggests, reduces the price of all Shop items to 1 Zeni. This allows you to easily purchase shop items without having to grind for Zeni. When stuck on a difficult battle, this mod comes in clutch. You can use the mod to acquire expensive stat boost items from the shop and proceed ahead.
