Each neighborhood in the Sims 4 has its own set of amenities and cultural activities that affect your parenthood in different ways.
Parenthood in The Sims 4 can be quite exciting. However, as you take on the role of a parent, there are several things you have to keep in mind. You have to form a bond with your child and also instill values that help them grow up to be a good individual. The neighborhood you live in plays a crucial role in this development. Your neighborhood determines the activities they engage in, the friends they make, and more. Needless to say, you have to choose your neighborhood in The Sims 4 carefully if you are planning to be a parent.
In this guide, we shall go over the five best neighborhoods for active and aspiring parents in The Sims 4.
1) San Myshuno
The San Myshuno neighborhood is a sprawling urban complex packed with all the amenities you could ever ask for. It is a cultural melting pot and has many festivities that you can partake in with your child. The five festivals that take place on a bi-weekly schedule include the Flea Market, GeekCon, Humor & Hijinks, Romance Festival, and Spice Festival. If you grow tired of the festivities, you can take a stroll in the Central Park at Myshuno Meadows or visit the Casbah Gallery in the Arts Center.
2) Willow Creek
Willow Creek is a scaled-down, suburban version of San Myshuno. The smaller, more confined locale offers a ton of social activities and engagements. You can visit the Museum in the Municipal Muses or the Willow Creek Archives Library. If bored, you could take your child to the Magnolia Blossom Park. Here, they can hop around on the monkey bars or take on a game of chess.
3) Forgotten Hollow
Okay, hear us out. Forgotten Hollow is a spooky place that proudly displays its gothic influences. It came as part of the Vampires expansion and is the perfect place for you to raise a Vampire family. While it may lack some amenities, it is a novelty that your child will appreciate. They can visit the graveyards and explore the tunnels for some haunting fun. You can fish for rare ingredients, or take your child to the park, which has plenty of chessboards.
4) Oasis Springs
Oasis Springs is a small, close-knit community in the middle of the desert. Enjoy starry nightscapes and the warm weather as you go on family day trips. We recommend taking your child to the Futures Past Museum. This three-storey museum is filled with paintings. You can also head to the Desert Bloom park for some barbeque and chess with your child.
5) Brindleton Bay
Brindleton Bay, as the name suggests, is a town that rests on the bay. The coastal weather is extremely comfortable, and there are plenty of animals here, as evident from the animal shelter in the town. Take your child to the shelter for some family bonding with a side of kittens and pups. You can also take your child to Pupperstone Park, which is a haven for pet owners. Being surrounded by animals will bring your child closer to nature. If you wish to explore, you can also visit the mysterious lighthouse on the edge of the town.
