This guide provides an overview of the five best Archetypes for Junah in the turn-based RPG Metaphor Refantazio.
Metaphor Refantazio, a turn-based RPG published by Sega, has various Archetypes, each of which has unique benefits to offer. Junah is a follower that the Protagonist gains over the course of the game. The talented singer from the Nidia tribe with a mysterious past joins the party with one of the best Archetype lineages – the Masked Dancer. Let’s take a look at the five best Archetypes for Junah in Metaphor Refantazio.

1) Masked Dancer
Masked Dancer is Junah’s starting Archetype but one of the best in the entire game. It unlocks in Junah Bond 1 and costs 8250 MAG. This Archetype increases the success rate of skills that inflict status effects and also deals fire damage to enemies, which may cause a Burn status effect. She can adapt to various enemies by changing her weaknesses and abilities based on the equipped mask. The masks can be created at the Akademia by interacting with More.
2) Healer
The Healer Archetype can be unlocked at Maria Bond level 1 with 1000 MAG. It allows Junah to support other party members with healing abilities and also remove the debuff effects on them. This is especially useful during boss battles. She can also use Light damage spells, which can be equipped with other classes for versatility. The Healer Archetype combines healing abilities with supporting spells, and is hence a wise choice for Junah.
3) Faker
The Faker Archetype unlocks at Alonzo Bond level 1 with 1875 MAG. Despite being Alonzo’s signature Archetype, it benefits Junah in many ways. Primarily it weakens enemies by removing all the buffs on them. It decreases the turns of the enemy’s attributes, namely Attack, Hit/Evasion, and Defense. Skills such as Faker’s Roguery test your luck by inflicting the Forget status effect on the enemies, which randomly adds or removes the turn icons.
4) Persona Master
Unlocked with Junah Bond level 6, Masked Dancer Rank 20, and Faker Rank 10, the Persona Master Archetype costs 28,500 MAG. It is one of the best Archetypes for Junah, alongside the Royal Masked Dancer, with both Archetypes belonging to the Masked Dancer lineage. Persona Master is primarily a supportive Archetype but deals Heavy Fire damage to all enemies and removes their buffs.
It inflicts debuffs on enemies and creates elemental weaknesses regardless of their immunity to specific elements. When combined with a powerful attacking Archetype on the allies, the Persona Master becomes unstoppable on the battlefield.
5) Royal Masked Dancer
The Royal Masked Dancer Archetype is unlocked at Junah Bond level 8, Persona Master Rank 20, and Trickster Rank 10, costing 28,600 MAG. Exclusive to Junah, the Royal Masked Dancer is arguably the best Archetype for her. It combines the skills and characteristics of various Archetypes, including Masked Dancer, Persona Master, and Mage.
The Royal Masked Dancer allows Junah to inflict massive fire damage on enemies and remove buffs. It also provides extensive support to her allies due to its debuffing effect that weakens enemies.
