1) Royal Berserker

Royal Berserker is the absolute best Archetype that you can equip on Basilio. This “Royal” category is exclusive to Basilio, and its destructive powers suit his endgame playstyle perfectly. Royal Berserker heavily increases physical damage and almost makes this Follower an unstoppable force.
The passives and unique skills of this category, like Charge, boost his physical damage further. On the other hand, Systematic Destruction ignores all enemy resistance, further boosting the physical attack outputs. However, there are several other Archetypes that you will have to level up in order to unlock this particular one.
2) Destroyer

Destroyer is not Basilio’s innate Archetype, but it suits him extremely well. It is a more versatile option that also allows him to deal low elemental damage with Wind and Light. Since this is not entirely focused on Physical damage, the Destroyer Archetype Basilio fits well in a variety of parties.
This Archetype also has a trump card with Revenge Seeker, a passive that increases damage from all skills proportionate to the HP lost. However, this will only work if Basilio is in the front row. Destroyer is one of the best Archetypes that you can use for Basilio if versatility is your primary concern. Furthermore, you will need it to unlock the Royal Berserker Archetype for him.
3) Knight

Basilio is somewhat of a glass-cannon follower. He boasts a very high attack power but has low defensive abilities. As such, the Knight archetype can make him more balanced by adding to his defense.
In particular, Guard Lore and Ironclad Bond are skills that will boost his defense, making him more resistant in battles. This makes him more reliable in crucial scenarios. Thus, Knight is one of the best Archetypes you can use on Basilio in Metaphor ReFantazio.
