Kai Cenat got banned for the sixth time on Twitch after he got swatted during his Mafiathon 2 subathon livestream.
Popular internet personality Kai Cenat got banned from Twitch after he got swatted during his recent livestream. For those unaware, the New Yorker premiered the much-awaited Mafiathon 2 on November 1, 2024. Things, however, took a turn earlier today (November 3, 2024), when his official Twitch channel was suspended for the sixth time. The Amazon-owned platform took the decision after Kai Cenat was swatted live on stream.
During his subathon, the content creator directed his production team to show a helicopter surveilling his house. He eventually realized that he was being swatted:
Production, can y’all show the helicopter in the sky? Can anybody in the production show the helicopter in the sky?! Y’all got a helicopter surrounding my house, bro! I don’t know, but y’all can just keep it on this one. Oh, my gosh! Yes, look! Oh, my gosh! Helicopter… I’m getting swatted. We’re getting swatted.
Readers should note that Kai Cenat’s recent Twitch ban was not severe, as his channel was reinstated after six minutes and 35 seconds. As of this writing, the 23-year-old was live on Twitch, with his Mafiathon 2 subathon proceeding as planned.
Kai Cenat Responds After Getting Banned From Twitch
Kai Cenat hosted an Instagram Live session on November 3, 2024, following his ban from Twitch. While explaining why he was swatted, the two-time Streamer of the Year award winner expressed surprise that the Amazon-owned platform had taken down his channel during his ongoing Mafiathon 2 subathon.
He said:
“So chat, listen, we all got swatted, right? The house got swatted because somebody called and said false information to troll. Twitch just banned me mid-subathon, bro! Twitch, literally, just banned… I’m literally posting outside… and it was nothing even crazy! I didn’t even do nothing! Mid-subathon, bro! So, now I’ve got to wait a whole, like, few hours for these n****s to go through the s**t. Not a few hours, but they’re about to go, probably, 30 more minutes. This house is big as s**t, and now I’ve got to wait. When, like, they didn’t even do… like, what the f**k?”
Twitch Streamer Reveals What the Swatter Reported to the Police
After getting unbanned from Twitch, Kai Cenat revealed what the swatter had reported to the police. According to him, a person called the cops and reported that someone “shot their brother and killed them” before “killing themselves.”
“So, one of your dumba** n****s thought it was funny. Y’all called the boys… y’all called the cops… okay? And told them on the phone, and said, ‘Someone in the house shot their brother, killed them, and then shot and killed themselves.’ Knowing that it’s already some weird s**t going on in this neighborhood because, you know, my neighborhood is… you got a crib over there… and you know what they found?”
