Amber can be obtained by mining the Amber nodes in the shrouded locations around the Revelwood in Enshrouded.
The survival crafting RPG Enshrouded requires players to explore the Embervale to obtain various resources. Some are found within no time, whereas some require a huge effort. Amber is one of the precious resources in Enshrouded and found only in the shroud.
You need at least Flame Altar Level 3 to survive the shrouded locations. If the smoke appears red, it quickly drains your survival timer and results in death. So, always check the smoke and monitor the survival timer while exploring the shrouded locations.
Consider carrying extra pickaxe in your backpack, because the locations mentioned in this article yield plenty of Amber. So you need to have a spare pickaxe to mine large Amber nodes. Here are some locations where you can get abundant Amber in Enshrouded.
Amber Locations in Enshrouded
Amber is an orange stone-like material obtained by mining the Amber nodes. Don’t confuse the Amber nodes with the copper nodes as both appear similarly. These Amber nodes appear as orange deposits that stick on the edges of rocks, which are present only in the shroud.
The Amber can be found in the shrouded locations around the Revelwood. You can use the Ancient Spire—Revelwood Fast Travel point to glide through the nearby areas from the top of the Ancient Spire. The Amber nodes can be spotted all around the Ancient Spire—Revelwood Fast Travel point such as the northeast, east, and south of the Revelwood Ancient Spire.
Shift to the nearby node if you hear a distinct ‘Ting’ sound, which indicates there is only stone and not Amber. You can get plenty of Amber in one run, with each node yielding around 30-45 Amber based on the size. Once acquired, the Amber usually takes up to 2 in-game days to respawn. However, you can use the trick of restarting the game to immediately respawn the Amber nodes, which paves the way for infinite Amber farming.
What To Do With Amber in Enshrouded?
Amber is used to upgrade Flame Altar from level 3 to level 4. It requires 15 Amber to strengthen the flame, along with some other requirements such as Goo, Mycellium, Spark, and so on. As a crafting material, Amber is used to create various recipes such as Fireball II and Eternal Fireball Staff Charges and several gear pieces such as Mercenary Chest Piece, Tank Chestplate, Ghostly Shield, Hunter Gloves, and Ranger Vest.
