Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, despite its rather linear main story, is a pretty long game. Although Indiana Jones is structurally similar to Naughty Dog’s Uncharted games, it also deviates from those titles in some key aspects.
Firstly, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle offers players plenty of optional content to sink their teeth into. While these optional tombs, puzzles, and stealth encounters aren’t necessary to progress the main story, they do flesh out the different locales that Indy gets to visit in the game. Furthermore, the missions in Indiana Jones are not nearly as linear as in most action-adventure games. All of this ends up contributing to the game’s overall completion time.

Despite its rather small main story missions list, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a vast game. While the list of chapters isn’t particularly lengthy, the amount of content they have to offer certainly is. Each chapter in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a huge sandbox similar to the recent Hitman games (Hitman World of Assassination Trilogy).
Furthermore, each of the regions, i.e., chapters, offers its own set of optional quests, which you can complete while going through the main story. Also, for the completionists out there, the optional stuff in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can be completed even after finishing the main story.

It should be noted that all the optional quests in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can be completed in between or following the main story missions. Although the main story is quite linear, the optional content can be tackled at any time you like.
You can essentially complete all the optional stuff that the game has to offer in a single playthrough and grab all the associated achievements as well. That said, some of the later side quests can be quite tricky and are best left to be completed after the main story.
