Marvel Rivals is close to its release. Find out all the characters in the game that you can play as upon release.
Marvel Rivals has vastly increased its character roster since the open beta. Now, the game is scheduled to be fully released in the coming week. It is essential that Marvel fans know what heroes and villains they can play the game as.
The game introduced three classes: Vanguards, Duelists, and Strategists. All three of them play a different role in a match. However, they can play a little differently based on their skill sets. For example, a flying hero would play differently from a hero who stays on the ground.
The 33 characters in Marvel Rivals that you can choose from starting the 6th of December are:
- Adam Warlock (Strategist)

- Black Widow (Duelist)

Which Character Should You Choose in Marvel Rivals?
Vanguards usually stay at the frontlines of a combat situation. They can shield their allies easily with their size, tank-like health, and abilities. They also deal massive damage compared to other classes. If you are starting anew in a hero shooter, we suggest you take up this class, to allow yourself to take more risks.
Duelists are mostly offensive characters. They excel in one-to-one combat. So, if you have chosen this class and face more than one player at a time, you have to be witty enough to win the situation. Otherwise, there is no saving you. However, it’s not all negative. You can also boost the strength of allies nearby. Keep in mind that you won’t get abundant HP, so you have to be extra careful. Take on this class once you are experienced enough.
Those who prefer a more altruistic gameplay style should opt for Strategists. Players who have this class can heal allies and buff them in the middle of the combat. They don’t have as much health as a Vanguard but can heal themselves, which gives them an edge over the Duelists when it comes to survival on the battlefield.
At last, we can say that none of these classes are ‘worse’ or ‘better’ objectively. Instead, it all depends on your playstyle and experience with hero shooters; particularly with Marvel Rivals. We recommend you experiment with a character of each class with a lower difficulty level. This suggests that the character in question has an easier learning curve. So, choose wisely and stick to the class you believe you can master easily.
