Here is a list of all buffs that heroes in Marvel Rivals are getting as part of the Season 1 second half update.

The second half of Marvel Rivals Season 1 is bringing many buffs along with it to ensure the roster is balanced out. There are many changes in the second half that are not related to these buffs that you should also check out.
Additionally, kindly note that the “buffs” mentioned here do not come without specific “nerfs” for certain heroes. So, if you want to know all the balance changes, we suggest that you also read the nerfs that the upcoming patch will introduce.
NOTE: We will divide the updates into four sections for better understanding – Vanguards, Duelists, Strategists, and Team up.
All Buffs in the Second Half of Marvel Rivals Season 1
Vanguards
CHARACTERS | BUFFS |
Captain America | 1. Ability to use Living Legend mid-leap. 2. Vibranium Energy Saw’s projectile speed increased from 60m/s to 80m/s. Ricochet speed increased from 100m/s to 150m/s. 3. Reduced energy cost for Ultimate Ability Freedom Charge from 3100 to 2800. 4. Separating Sentinel Strike from melee attacks. Cap will be able to hit melee attacks while his shield is thrown. 5. Melee attack allowed instead of compulsory shield-throw during Charged Aegis Team-Up Ability. 6. While airborne, using melee attacks will no longer trigger the Super-Soldier Slam ability. |
Groot | Increase Thornlash Wall placement range from 15 to 18 meters. |
Magneto | Increase Iron Volley projectile damage from 35 to 40. |
Thor | Remove shared cooldown time after the duration of Awakening Rune ends. |
Venom | 1. The knockback effect of Frenzied Arrival changed from vertical to inward, with an inward knockback angle of 75 degrees. 2. Reduce the cost of the Feast of the Abyss Ultimate Ability from 2800 to 2500. |

Duelists
CHARACTERS | BUFFS |
Black Widow | 1. Increase magazine capacity of Red Room Rifle from 8 to 15. 2. Enhanced the slow effect of Electro-Plasma Explosion Ultimate Ability on enemies. 3. Ultimate hit will also apply a 15% Vulnerability effect to enemies for 4 seconds. |
Hawkeye | 1. Base health increased to 275 from 250. 2. Spell field damage increased from 25 to 32. 3. Crescent Slash cooldown reduced from 15s to 12s. 4. Hunter’s Sight Ultimate Ability damage multiplied from 1.2 to 1.35 and increase bow draw speed during it. |
Iron Fist | 1. Each strike from the Yat Jee Chung Kuen now delivers an extra blow, dealing damage equal to 1.7% of the opponent’s maximum health (including during Living Chi). 2. Increase the additional maximum health granted by Harmony Recovery from 50 to 150. 3. Maximum Bonus Health converted from damage blocked during Dragon’s Defense increased from 150 to 200. 4. Base health increased from 250 to 300. |
Iron Man | 1. Increase Unibeam damage from 120/s to 140/s. 2. Increase Unibeam (Armor Overdrive) damage from 180/s to 190/s. |
Magik | Reduce energy cost of Darkchild Ultimate Ability from 3700 to 3400. |
Mister Fantastic | 1. Increase spell field radius after landing from Flexible Elongation from 2.5 meters to 5 meters. Flexible Elongation will now feature a knockback effect, launching enemies outward within the area upon landing. 2. Increase spell field damage of Braniac Bounce Ultimate Ability from 50 to 70. |
Moon Knight | Increase the damage of each hit from 75 to 150. |
Scarlet Witch | Gain additional 100 Bonus Health upon activating Reality Erasure Ultimate Ability. |
Spider-Man | Reduce Web-Cluster energize time from 3s to 2.5s. |
Star-Lord | Increase Rocket Propulsion’s maximum energy from 1200 to 1800. |
Storm | Increase bonus damage for allies within range during Weather Control (Thunder) from 8% to 10%. |

Strategist
CHARACTERS | BUFFS |
Adam Warlock | 1. Increase damage of Quantum Magic from 55 to 60. 2. Increase the healing amount provided by Soul Bond to linked allies from 10/s to 15/s. |
Cloak & Dagger | 1. Healing of each segment of the Ultimate Ability Eternal Bond increased from 220/s to 250/s. 2. Pause time between each segment decreased from 1s to 0.67s. 3. Camera control is unlocked during the activation of Eternal Bond. 4. Increase Vulnerability inflicted on enemies by Terror Cape from 20% to 28%. |
Loki | Increase Mystical Missile charges from 10 to 12. |

Team-Up Abilities

Atlas Bond | 1. Frozen Chi now heals 75 instead of 50 health. 2. Frozen Chi will now have 30% slow effect on enemies instead of 20%. |
Dimensional Shortcut | Conversion ratio of lost health to blue armor for Psionic Disc and Wakandan Master will be increased from 0.5 to 0.8. |
Lunar Force | Full Moon New effect: Continuously heal Moon Knight for 25 health per second while within the effect area. |
Symbiote Bond | Replace the 50% damage reduction effect with a new invincibility effect during the duration. |
