Only the highest level Pals are ‘Legendary’ in the true sense in Palworld. Here’s all of them with a quick suggestion on how to get them.
Legendary Pals can be a blessing to have on your side. Luckily, you can extract work from them and take them to battles to make your gameplay much easier! However, they can be a little tricky to get to.
There are only five naturally occurring Legendary Pals in the game as of now. Most of them, except for the Frostallion Noct, are Alpha Bosses that you need to fight. There is a low chance that you will be able to catch these using a sphere. But don’t worry; we are here to clear all the confusion that we can!
Following is the list of all the Legendary Pals present in the game as of update v0.4.11:
- Paladius (Neutral)
- Necromus (Dark)
- Frostallion (Ice)
- Frostallion Noct (Dark)
- Jetragon (Dragon)
Here are the details on how to obtain these Pals:
1. Paladius
This knight in shining armor has a Neutral elemental association and can be found in the northeastern region of the world map, grouped with Necromus. The area he resides in is northwest of the Deep Sand Dunes teleport point (446, 681).
Keep the best gear with you when you are trying to fight and catch Paladius, and don’t forget to bring the Legendary Sphere. This will increase your capture chances. The catch rate can be increased at the Statue of Powers using Lifmunk Effigies, but if you are in luck, a Legendary Sphere alone can also help. It can also hatch from a Huge Common Egg.
2. Necromus
This one looks like Paladius’ first cousin. Unlike the latter, though, it is actually affiliated with the Dark element, allowing you a little variety. Travel northwest of the Deep Sand Dunes teleport point to find this Alpha Field Boss. Just like Paladius, you would want to prepare with the best gear and Pals you have got, and lastly, not to forget the Legendary Sphere. This Level 50 Pal does not go down easy. So, bring a Healing pal if you can. And if nothing works, a Huge Dark Egg should get you one.
3. Frostallion
If there is a list of the most majestic Pals, Frostallion will definitely be up there. Not just in looks, but this fellow is helpful in combat as well, bringing Ice damage to the table. However, as helpful as it can be, catching it is just as tedious.
So, when you head east from the Land of Absolute Zero teleport point, make sure that you are well stocked up on weapons, Fire damage-dealing Pals, and Legendary Spheres to increase your chance to catch it. A Huge Frozen Egg should also work in your favor to obtain this Legendary Pal.
4. Frostallion Noct
This Pal is pretty different from the standard Frostallion because of its Dark element. The physical appearance is mostly the same, with Noct having much cooler, darker skin. You can fight it as a Level 60 Field Alpha Boss southwest of the Hidden Passage to the Oculus Gate teleport point in Feybreak.
It makes you grind first, though. You must collect Bounty Tokens from Celesdir, Silvegis, Azurmane, and Splatterina, who are all Field Alpha Bosses themselves. You can obtain it by hatching it using a Huge Dark Egg. Breeding Frostallion and Helzephyr is also a good way to ensure that you get the desired results.
5. Jetragon
The only Dragon-type Legendary Pal on this list is Jetragon. It is found north of the Beach of Everlasting Summer teleport point. The only way to ensure that you have a chance at catching this Level 50 boss is if you carry Legendary Spheres with you to the fight. Go in fully prepared because it will probably be looking for a fight! We also suggest bringing Ice Pals with you. Otherwise, a Huge Dragon Egg has an average chance of giving you a Jetragon.
