Tanjiro, known as Demon Slayer in Anime Rangers X, is not only a Mythic unit but he’s one of the strongest characters you can add to your roster if you’re serious about clearing tough stages. Getting him, though, takes some effort and a whole lot of Ranger Crystals. And evolving him? Even trickier.
This guide is built to get you straight to the point from how to summon him, what you’ll need to evolve him, and exactly how to unlock and use his ultimate ability once he’s powered up.
Tanjiro in Anime Rangers X Roblox
To get Tanjiro in Anime Rangers X, head straight to the Units Gacha area. He’s listed as a Mythic unit under the name Demon Slayer. You can summon him from either the Standard Banner or the Rate-up Banner, but make sure he’s currently featured on the Standard one. His drop rate sits at 1%, so don’t expect to pull him on your first few tries. You’ll need around 5000 Ranger Crystals or more, depending on your luck. It’s a grind, but pulling him early can give your lineup a major edge.
Once you’ve got Tanjiro, the next step is evolving him into a Demon Slayer (Sun Breathing). Start by visiting the Units Evolve section in the game. There, you’ll need two things: 15,000 Gold and one Sunrise Earrings. The Sunrise Earrings aren’t something you can buy outright. You have to earn them by completing the Demon Forest Ranger Stages. These missions can take some effort depending on your team, but they’re the only way to get the item you need.
After you collect both the Gold and the Sunrise Earrings, go ahead and evolve Tanjiro. This evolution doesn’t just boost stats, it unlocks one of the most impactful Ultimate Skills in the game: Eternal Solar Dance. To use it, bring Demon Slayer (Sun Breathing) into a stage and level him up to 4, which is the max. That’s when his Ultimate becomes available. Press X during gameplay to open the Ultimates menu, then activate the skill when it’s ready.
Eternal Solar Dance launches a short cutscene followed by a wide cone-shaped attack that deals heavy damage to any enemies caught in range. It’s flashy, strong, and great for clearing mobs or dealing with tough bosses. Once you unlock and master this ability, you’ll see why so many players grind just to get and evolve Tanjiro.
