Arma Reforger Can’t Connect to Server Error: Is There Any Fix?

Arma Reforger has repeatedly had some server errors that the player base faces. Depending on your login timings, this error can either be frequent or take place occasionally. Either way, people have been looking for a quick fix for the situation. But is there any?

People around the world have faced this error on different occasions. Some get an error while trying to connect to a server, while some have also seen servers die when they get more than 15 people.

We don’t know the reason behind it yet. Nor has Bohemia Interactive revealed one. Because of this, there is no official fix for the error. However, the internet has done its thing again and presented us with a few methods to get the game running smoothly without this error showing. Hopefully, these fixes may work for you too.

NOTE: These fixes are for PC users only. Unfortunately, console players can’t perform these actions. We suggest that you seek help and submit your issue through some official forum.

A Possible Fix for Arma Reforger’s Server Error

If your error kicks you out as soon as you join a server, you should try joining empty servers at your disposal. This has seemed to fix the issue for some Steam players who were facing the same problem.

Another way of quick-fixing the Arma Reforger server error is by running Steam as administrator. If that doesn’t work, you can also try updating your network drivers to see if that was causing you all the problems.

A technical way of solving the problem is by searching the ports that you can forward. People in the community have mentioned the following ports that seem to have worked for them:

TCP: 27015, 27036
UDP: 2001, 17777, 27015, 27031-27036

Try out the port method at your own discretion. We are not sure whether it would work and what problems it may cause if not done right. But you can do it if you are completely fed up with the game at the moment.

This issue was present during the game’s Early Access release in 2022. Now, however, it has been fixed pretty much. Since it is such a large-scale issue, the problem seems to be with the game, which is not something you can directly fix. If you continue to face these issues despite trying your best, just submit your help request and patiently wait for the team to get it fixed.
