A recent Reddit leak allegedly revealed the supposed launch price of the Switch 2. The r/NintendoSwitch2 subreddit featured a Discord chat screenshot detailing this information. Let’s explore the potential pricing of the Nintendo Switch 2 based on the details from the leak.
Nintendo Switch 2 Price Leaked?
u/Hakouel took to Nintendo Switch 2’s subreddit to post a Discord chat screenshot that reveals the supposed price of the new console by Nintendo. According to this leak, a person who claims to be an employee at Micromania, a major French games retailer, alleges that they have received the pricing details on the console already.
The Micromania employee allegedly revealed that the Switch 2 will launch at a price of €399. The leaker also claimed that pre-orders will open soon, and a list of 25 games will be available, priced approximately between €69 and €79.
As seen in the Reddit post, the leaker also confirms that the Nintendo Switch Online prices will see a hike in the upcoming days. This could hint towards the backward compatibility support of the console, which explains why the subscription could see an increase in its prices. One must remember that this is a leak, and there’s no confirmation of its legitimacy. Thus, take this information with a grain of salt.
