You need to be well prepared before taking on Grotesque Guptauros in Metaphor ReFantazio. For this, you need your Protagonist’s Seeker to be at level 4. This allows the Seeker to know Tarukaja. You also need to level up your Mage to level two. This will enable both Strohl and the Protagonist to learn Blizz. Additionally, upgrade your party’s gear and armor appropriately to boost its defense and endurance.

During the fight with Grotesque Guptauros, your primary focus will be using Hulkenberg’s Jump Thrust Synthesis attack. This will attack the boss’ weakness directly, lower its defenses for three turns, and dish out a lot of damage. You can stack this up to three times to further increase the damage. Strohl and the Protagonist can continue using Blizz to get additional Press Turn icons. Throughout the fight, you need to make sure Hulkenburg has two Press Icons for the Jump Attack.

Every third turn, the boss will get rid of any debuffs you put on it before letting out a Charged attack. During this attack, you need to have Strohl and the Protagonist use Blizz while Hulkenburh uses a basic attack. All three of them can then go into guarding. Keeping up the Jump Thrust loop can allow you to take down the Grotesque Guptauros in Metaphor ReFantazio.
