Throne and Liberty is an MMORPG that honors the player’s freedom and creativity. There are many different playstyles that gamers can opt for, with one of them involving the use of the Wand & Tome. It is best suited for those playing a supportive role.

In this guide, we shall go over the process of upgrading the Wand & Tome skills of your choice and the related skills you should be on the lookout for.

Upgrading Wand & Tome Skills

Much like any other skills in the game, Training Books are the “currency” you require to upgrade your Wand & Tome skills. Training Books are found scattered in the wild. They are fairly easy to stumble across when dungeon crawling or completing quests. Alternatively, you could buy these books from Skill Research vendors for the lower tier skills. To unlock higher-tier skills, you will have to find a Senior Skill Researcher.

Training Books are categorized based on skill levels: Quality Training Books for Quality Skills, Rare Training Books for Rare Skills, and Precious Training Books for Precious Skills.

Once you have the necessary Training Books, head over to the Skills menu to upgrade the Wand & Tome skills.

Wand & Tome Skills to Look Out for

When upgrading Wand & Tome skills, you must keep in mind that the weapons very much fulfill a support role. So, the skills you pick must enhance the healing and supporting capabilities of your build.

With this in mind, Touch of Despair is an active skill we highly recommend investing in. It allows you to curse targets and deal damage in increments over time. This greatly benefits your party as they finish off weakened enemies.

With the Touch of Despair active skill equipped, you can also equip the Vampiric Contract passive skill. The latter allows you to restore a party member’s health each time you damage a cursed target.

Swift Healing is another active skill worth looking into as it can instantly grant some HP to you or others in your party. This is useful when the going gets tough, and you need a quick boost to survive a battle. Alternatively, you could use Clay’s Salvation skill to the same effect and heal the entire party in one go.
