Atomfall has been an experiment turned successful. The shorter play time has been a focal point for people with busy lives to buy the game.

Atomfall is a game quite unlike any other game released recently. Some people purchase the game thinking it’s somewhere on the lines of a British Fallout/Stalker-like game. However, the game is quite experimental, from its unique quest system to its shorter playtime. So, how long does it take to beat Atomfall?
How Long To Beat Atomfall?

Atomfall is a game developed by Rebellion Studios, the developers of Sniper Elite. However, it has become the most successful out of all of them. Based on the real Windscale incident in North England, Atomfall can be termed as a busy man’s roadside picnic.
Atomfall’s rich environment storytelling and quest system follow a foundation to navigate through the game, making it intuitive and fun. Atomfall’s map size is considerably small but packed with elements and NPCs that provide you ‘investigations’.
Time Needed To Finish Atomfall
This new type of quest system is somewhat experimental and might need more polish. The game, with the main quests, takes about 15-20 hours to complete and depends on your approach to its story. If you want to complete achievements and finish all 6 endings of Atomfall, it will take at least 45 hours.
Atomfall places the player as a character in its world, so no customization. But the RPG elements are definitely there. Skills and points in character traits help you determine how you approach the factions in the game. The factions in the game help you choose a side, but there are very few consequences to choosing every faction.
Why You Should Try The Game

The game was called a more experimental release from the developers. This is prominent in the game, as the small map but rich environments lack a stellar combat system and AI. The difficulty also increases the number of enemies you face at a time. This makes the game a bit of a jank-fest, but the ‘investigations’ and exploration is worth it.
That being said, the game is best when played blind, as it sort of becomes a one-time experience to figure out the aftermath of a quarantined nuclear zone.
