Creator and owner of Deltiasgaming.com. I created the website out of a hobby to share my passion and love for gaming. It has turned into a career and I still find myself burning white hot with enthusiasm to learn, teach and help others enjoy gaming. Growing up in rural Nebraska, games were the only real sense of adventure that I had. Even when I found a real-life adventure joining the US Army, I found comfort in sitting in a tent playing a round of Halo with my squad after a long day’s patrol. No matter where I go, or who I spend time with, gaming and sharing my passion is a core value and we hope you continue to use the website and the material going forward.

I’ve been playing video games since the original Nintendo Entertainment System and stuck to consoles for a couple of decades before shifting to primarily PC.

My favorite types of games are RPGs, where great storytelling and characters get you invested in the world, the people you meet along the way, and the consequences of the choices you make. It’s a narrative experience you just can’t get in any other type of entertainment media.

Working on the website, drafting articles, and building guides, allows me to stretch and hone my writing techniques. Engaging with the team, learning new skills and building our community together can be a challenge, but often a gratifying one. Altogether, it gives me an exciting opportunity to be a tiny part of an industry that has been a meaningful part of my life since childhood.

There are two titles I’m extremely proud of having, one is Marine and the other is Dad. And while both of those happened later in my life, another title I’ve held since I was two years old is Gamer. Gaming to me is another form of art and storytelling, and I love sharing my love for it with others. The communities that I’ve become a part of and helped build have become like family to me, and bringing new people into them and sharing my knowledge with them brings me so much joy.
