1) Nightclub
Nightclubs, the heart of Los Santos, are arguably one of the best businesses you can ever have in GTA Online. However, owning and running a Nightclub is not a piece of cake, as it requires you to unlock several other businesses first, such as cargo and shipments, weed and cocaine, bunkers, and so on.
You have over 10 different Nightclubs all around the map to purchase, which requires a significant amount. It is one of the best businesses for earning a passive income which includes generating income on the wall safe and selling supplies.
You can earn $50,000 per 48 minutes in-game through the Nightclub’s wall safe, which caps up to $250,000. However, you need to fill up the popularity bar of your Nightclub, which can be done by clearing troubling guests or escorting VIPs to a safe place. You can also book and replace popular DJs and promote your Nightclub to maintain its popularity at its peak, as the Nightclub’s popularity directly influences the money inside the wall safe.
2) Acid Lab
Acid Lab is one of the unique yet easy businesses that allows you to earn a stable passive income. Its setup cost of $750,000 is comparatively cheaper than other businesses, making it one of the best businesses for beginners. Additionally, you can do all the missions on a solo run, without any help from others. Acid Lab is the only mobile business in GTA Online, running inside a customized Brickade 6×6.
In addition to being a convenient mobile business, you can take supplies during selling missions just by ordering through your mobile phone, removing the need to go to the spot. To unlock the business, you need to first complete Ron Jakowski and Dax’s Freakshop questline. Once fully upgraded, you can earn over $300,000 every 3 hours by resupplying the supplies.
3) Auto Shop
Next up we have Auto Shop, another perfect business for beginners. Owning an Auto Shop allows you to manage vehicles and perform car-related jobs like delivering customized vehicles for the customer. There are five Auto Shops available overall. The best way to earn via Auto Shop is by delivering the Exotic Exports vehicles.
You will find a list of exotic export vehicles in your Auto Shop. Find and deliver these vehicles, which appear in the blue icon in the mini-map, to earn up to $200,000. Another best way to get more money is through contracts, which feature car-based mini-heist missions. These illegitimate contracts offer a hefty amount of money up to $500,000. Additionally, you can recruit up to two staff members to make them do the delivery work for you.
4) The Agency
The Agency, introduced as a part of The Contract update, is another one of the best businesses in GTA Online overall. With three different types of jobs: Payphone Hits, Security Contracts, and the Heist Contract, you can earn a hefty amount within a short period. Moreover, you will get a passive income in The Agency businesses, which are stacked up in a wall safe when completing contracts.
Payphone Hits are the starters for beginners, in which you will play the role of a hitman or assassin. You need to eliminate a target marked by Franklin. Take out the target with a specified method to increase the reward money.
While The Agency requires a significant investment of over $2 million, it offers excellent returns. You can earn around $60,000 for every Payphone Hits and Security Contract mission. Additionally, you can earn up to $1 million for completing “The Contract: Dr. Dre” (The Contracts).
5) Bunker
Finally, we have the Bunkers. Introduced in the Gunrunning update, Bunkers are a great way to earn a large amount of money by manufacturing and selling weapons. It also acts as the best source of passive income similar to Acid Lab. Deliver the Ammunition Truck located at the entrance of your Bunker to earn $50,000 every 48 minutes.
Use your computer at the Bunker to resupply/fill the stocks and deliver them at the right spots to earn significant money. The research option in Bunker allows you to unlock exclusive special weapons, ammunition, and upgrades. The cost of Bunkers ranges from $1 million to $4 million based on the location, which plays an important role in Bunker’s business, especially in your selling missions.
