The RTX 5060 replaces the 2022 mid-range offering from Nvidia, the RTX 4060. The GPU has identical 8GB VRAM to that of the 4060, but the memory type has been upgraded to GDDR7, which doubles the memory bandwidth. Diablo 4 is incredibly well-optimized and runs smoothly on 8GB GPUs, such as the 5060. With the settings below, which emphasize RT (Ray Tracing), you can expect a framerate of around 75-80 FPS.

Note: If you are playing without RT, the framerate will exceed 100+ FPS. However, when using these settings with RT enabled, you need a CPU that is at least in the Core i5-12400F or Ryzen 5 5600X territory; otherwise, a CPU bottleneck will occur.

  • You can use Steam’s performance metrics to monitor VRAM usage. If it runs out with these settings, then lower Fog Quality, Textures, Ambient Occlusion, etc.
  • With the recent update, the developers have updated the game to leverage DLSS 4 alongside multi-frame generation. However, remember that it takes a toll on VRAM usage. If you have sufficient headroom, consider enabling FG or MFG.
