Here are the optimal settings for playing Diablo 4 on your RTX 5060 laptop with ray tracing enabled at 1440p resolution.

Diablo 4 is a top-down RPG with an incredible storyline. The optimization is also impressive, and the game plays very well with 8GB VRAM. At 1440p with the RTX 5060 laptop, you can expect more than 60FPS. That said, most laptops featuring an RTX 5060 typically come with a 1080p high-refresh-rate display. You can use these settings with either 1440p or lower resolution and achieve a seamless gaming experience.

Note: Although Blizzard optimized Diablo 4 well, you need a processor with at least a Core i5-13500H to avoid CPU limitations, especially when you decide to enter mob-heavy dungeons.

A few keynotes to consider:

  • With pure raster, these settings can get you about 70-75FPS at 1440p. Once you enable Frame Generation, you can expect it to reach over 120 frames per second. That said, be sure to monitor your VRAM usage during the process.
  • During intense activities like soloing dungeons, or with a friend, the number of mobs will increase, and will highly trigger chances of being CPU-bound, if your CPU isn’t specced well enough. If you encounter dips like that, you can turn on Frame Gen and then lower Fog Quality, Ambient Occlusion, or Shader Quality.
