Ash met Lapras in the 84th episode of the Pokemon anime. The poor Pokemon got separated from its family and found itself on the shores of Tangelo Island. Lapras was saved by Ash, and the Pokemon decided to join Ash’s adventure with the hope of reuniting with its family. Moreover, it found its family and left Ash’s team with tears in its eyes. During the episode A Festival of Decisions, Ash’s Frogadier evolved into Greninja while fighting for the ninja village. Before evolving into a powerful beast, Froakie used to struggle with trainers. However, after meeting Ash, he changed and decided to follow him throughout the journey. Greninja did leave Ash’s team, but it made a very noticeable impression by being a total hero of the Kalos region.
