Black Myth Wukong – All Martial Arts Talents List Guide
Source: Game Science

In Black Myth: Wukong, your character progresses by unlocking Foundation talents in three different skill trees: Stamina, Martial Arts, and Survival. These Foundation talents primarily dictate your combat efficiency. Therefore, you will want to give priority to unlocking them with Spark Points especially early in the game.

Furthermore, you will need to defeat enemies to make progress towards Spark Points. First, when you defeat an enemy you will be granted Willpower. Then, after your Willpower bar fills up, you will get a Spark Point.

Finally, you can respec your Spark Points at any time during the game. This freedom will facilitate combat strategy and allow you to modify your build to take advantage of boss weaknesses or combat style.

All Martial Arts Talents – Black Myth: Wukong

Martial Arts Talent Tree - Black Myth Wukong

In Black Myth: Wukong the Martial Arts tree includes a total of 11 different skills that can improve and upgrade attacks, or morph them into something new. The Staff Spin is an active ability that will protect you from projectiles, for example. Furthermore, even the basic Light Attack can be improved upon. None of these abilities will increase resource pools like Stamina and Survival, but they will make combat more versatile and your character more powerful.

Below are all the Martial Arts Skills and Talents:

Swift Engage

  • Talent Name: Swift Engage
  • Foundation Skill Line: Martial Arts
  • Description: Each talent level significantly increases the engage distance of the Light Attack Starter.
  • Type: Passive
  • Sparks Cost: 1

Unlocking the Swift Engage talent will turn your first light attack against an opponent into a small gap closer. Thus, allowing you to dash to your enemy for a starting hit. This gap won’t be very big when you start, but there are two levels to unlock and the effects will stack.

Mobile Spin

Mobile Spin talent - Black Myth Wukong
  • Talent Name: Mobile Spin
  • Foundation Skill Line: Martial Arts
  • Description: Moving forward while using Staff Spin initiates Mobile Spin. The Destined One spins his staff around his body, deflecting projectiles.
  • Type: Passive
  • Sparks Cost: 1

The Mobile Spin talent is a fantastic upgrade to the basic staff spin ability that will allow you to spin the staff while moving. Moreover, this move will now be able to deflect incoming projectiles such as arrows. This talent is a great way to improve your defense and increase your mobility at the same time.

Effortless Finisher

  • Talent Name: Effortless Finisher
  • Foundation Skill Line: Martial Arts
  • Description: Grants more Focus when the second move of Light Attack Combo hits an enemy.

The challenge of a Light Attack Combo is to continuously strike the enemy with successive hits without missing. • Foundation Skill Line: Martial Arts
  • Description: Grants significant Damage Reduction during Light Attack Finisher.
