Crafting allows you to obtain various materials required to progress in Blue Archive. Let us discover the Crafting Room in detail.

Blue Archive takes you on an Epic Anime Fantasy RPG journey, following the stories of the girls in Kivotos. The Crafting Chamber in Blue Archive is unlocked after the 3-2 in the main campaign.
As the name suggests, the function of this Chamber is to create materials for the fighting students. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Crafting in Blue Archive
Material Synthesis

Utilizing Keystones, Material Synthesis provides five random sub-nodes that lead to different items. However, you can only pick one sub-node to craft. Additionally, the sub-nodes are randomized every time. Hence, there is no guarantee you’ll be given a node that leads to crafting a specific item, e.g., a gift or furniture while using the Material Synthesis.
One crafting node allows you to unlock up to three sub-nodes, with sub-node 2 requiring double the amount of Keystones used in sub-node 1. In exchange, you are allowed much more specific materials, such as a particular type of furniture. While chances increase, there is no guarantee that these materials will pop up.
To unlock sub-node 3, you require Elephs instead of Keystones. The cost of activation is five Elephs. You can get student Elephs here, but there is no guarantee of a specific student. We do not recommend trying your luck in this way because Elephs are hard to obtain and it is better spent on students. Alternatively, it is safer to stick to sub-node 2 for crafting.
Crafting takes some time to complete. However, using a Crafting Boost Ticket will instantly finish the process. The ticket cost increases with the sub-nodes unlocked, with 1 being the minimum and 3 being the maximum. These tickets can be obtained at random from normal or event stages. Moreover, you can buy them using Total Assault currency, which we do not recommend.
Doing tasks such as daily or weekly missions will give you Keystones. Moreover, they can be obtained through gacha — the number of pulls you have (if not converted to a spark) will be converted to an equal number of Keystone Pieces after a specific banner period.
Material Fusion

The second tab is Material Fusion. Here, you will use materials in your possession to transform them into a new material, usually a related type to the original materials. For example, student gifts as materials would let you create a Gift Choice Box.
Using the Material Fusion will cost you Fusion Keystones, which can be purchased at the Shop. On the other hand, you’ll get the currency through Joint Firing Drills. The type of Fusion Keystone required is according to the rarity of the item you’ll craft.
Material Fusion allows you to craft particular items, e.g., Tech Notes for a specific school. The ratio of the cost to craft items is 2:1. Hence, to craft five choices of Gehenna Tech Notes, you will require 10 Tech Notes as materials. Material Fusion might be expensive, but it is also a good way to utilize your excess Tech Notes from a different school.
Additionally, Material Fusion is not instantaneous — the crafting time increases with more items you craft or convert. You can use Crafting Boost tickets to instantly finish the process, like Material Synthesis.
Tips for Using the Crafting Room
In the early game, the supply of cafe furniture is scarce, so craft more furniture for the bonus AP and Credits boost. Next, focus on getting gifts to raise the bond level of students, unlocking more of their Momotalks. This will provide small stat boosts and allow them to use the unique equipment at a certain bond level.
After these are complete, focus on Tech Notes.
