Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a game where even monsters side with you to make things right. You go on an adventure to destroy the Paintress while eliminating any threat that comes in your way. To do so, you need good weapons for each character that will complement their playstyle.

Monoco is a Gestral who joins your party just to experience some battles. However, he also needs some good weapons, and in our opinion, Joyaro might do the trick. This is a fairly strong weapon that enhances attack power with each turn. If you want to break enemies with brute force, you must get this weapon.

In this article, we will explain how to acquire and use Joyaro in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

You can acquire this weapon through two methods. First, you can defeat Lampmaster in Flying Manor to get Joyaro. This is a hard boss, who can potentially one-shot you during some moves. There is only one weak spot, and it is its lamps. Carefully examine the lamplight pattern to stop it from using heavy attacks.

The second way you can get Joyaro is by defeating Ultimate Sakapatate in Endless Night Sanctuary. Teleport to the Warrior’s Route expedition flag to fight this boss.

How To Use Joyaro in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

Joyaro is a weapon that stacks damage to unleash a powerful move that breaks the enemies. It has a lightning element associated with it; moreover, it scales on defense and agility. Both of these stats will increase the overall power of Monoco. However, the main thing that makes this weapon godlike is its passives:

  • Level 4: Start battle in almighty mask.
  • Level 10: 20% increased damage for each consecutive turn without taking damage. Can stack up to 5 times.
  • Level 20: Break damage is doubled while in almighty mask.

If you use a break skill with this weapon, you might just one-shot most of the bigger enemies. All you have to do is dodge or parry attacks to build up damage while staying in almighty mask.
