Does Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Have Fillers?
Unlike the original Bleach anime, the new Thousand-Year Blood War arc adaptation of the story does not have any fillers. It’s headed straight into the entire story of the manga. All 26 episodes in the first and second cour of the adaptation are canon, dedicated purely to the main storyline.
Though some new characters and storylines were added in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, they can be seen as canon because Tite Kubo included them. Considering the length of this arc, it’s unlikely that future episodes will have fillers either.
Are Bleach Films Considered Fillers?
Many fans of Bleach feel that the Bleach movies are fillers. These films do not actually connect to the manga storyline. They are full of action and entertaining in their own self-contained universes.
