Discover the full ranking of challenges of every sin in Absolvement. Choose your path wisely and boost your gameplay today.

Sin selection in Absolvement Roblox decides whether your run feels like a stroll or a gauntlet. Each Sin cranks Soul Fragment gains by four percent while tagging on a permanent hindrance that warps combat, movement, or resource management. New players slip up once here and the rest of the server feasts on their misery.
Veterans purposely stack the worst debuffs to farm fragments faster. This tier list trims the guesswork—you will see every Sin ranked by real impact, clear difficulty labels, and suggested combos that actually work on live servers.
Sin Tier List for Absolvement Roblox
The Sins in Absolvement are not just cosmetic traits or background lore, they define how you play. Each one adds a permanent debuff and a 4 percent Soul Fragment bonus. Once chosen, you can’t change them unless you wipe your character, so picking the wrong ones early can ruin your progression. To make things easier, here’s a tiered breakdown based on how manageable each Sin is in actual gameplay.

S-Tier Sins
These are either extremely easy to deal with or come with very light penalties.
- Theft: All prices are doubled. That’s it. In the long run, this doesn’t slow you down much, especially if you get good at managing your resources.
- Gluttony: Every five minutes, you auto-consume a random item. If nothing is held, you take 20 damage. This can be annoying but it’s predictable and manageable.
- Pseudoprophecy: You’re stuck with one life—not ideal for new players, but manageable for those who play cautiously and know how to avoid silly deaths.
A-Tier Sins
These offer a bit more challenge but remain solid options if you’re confident in your build.
- Pride: Healing and support spells are 25 percent less effective. You’ll need to rely more on self-sustaining or avoid damage altogether.
- Deserter: Below 50 percent health, your walk speed drops. It punishes sloppy play but doesn’t hit you unless you’re low.
- Slaughterer: Mixed regen mechanics. You regenerate faster in combat but slower outside of it, with other penalties like slower speed and damage for the first few seconds in a fight.
B-Tier Sins
These start to make the game more punishing, especially if not paired with counter strategies.
- Sloth: Slows your attack by 20 percent and reduces walk speed by 10 percent. Can be balanced if you pick a race like Katiyr.
- Wrath: You gain twice the threat from potentials and your armor becomes 35 percent less effective. You’ll pull more aggro and take more damage—bad combination.
C-Tier Sins

Only go for these if you’re experimenting or feel confident in adapting to randomness.
- Greed: Forces you to always pick the highest rarity. If you skip, you get a permanent 2 percent damage and armor penalty per refusal. Easy to forget and quickly punishes indecisiveness.
- Judgement: You can’t see key stats on potentials. You’re guessing almost every time, which is risky long-term.
- Deceit: Some enemies, potentials, and even shops are fake or misleading. It affects every aspect of the game and forces you to second-guess everything.
- Chance: Common and Uncommon potentials drop more often, but better ones become much rarer. Progression feels slower and underwhelming.
D-Tier Sin
- Abomination: You get every single Sin. On top of that, you’re always under burden debuffs. While it gives a huge Soul Fragment boost (40 percent on wipe), it’s extremely punishing and best saved for veterans.
That’s your full breakdown. Start with the easier options, slowly layer in the more punishing ones, and don’t rush into Abomination unless you’re ready for constant pressure.
