In the Counter Strike scene, a professional player for the team 9Pandas was banned after using a weapon skin that displayed a racial slur. Vladislav Kravchenko, popularly known in-game as “Krad” was banned for a month by the Electronic Sports League (ESL).

The player stated that he did not notice the sticker as it was on the right-hand side of the weapon, and he played with the left-side view model. However, an old clip of the player has surfaced describing the weapon’s skin.

Vladislav used the skin during an ESL Challenger League match on January 21, 2025. The offensive stickers went unnoticed until a user on X pointed them out. The set of stickers used by Krad spelled out the n-word, due to which the player received heavy criticism from the Counter Strike community.

He later posted a statement on his X account stating that he had not noticed the stickers as he had bought it less than a week ago.

“Hey guys, saw the post about thе deagle, I want to tell you that I bought it less than a week ago and didn’t notice the very word since I play with my left hand and it’s mirrored. Have a good and productive day!”

Despite the player’s statements, X user @picklepissiere found old footage of a Counter Strike stream in which Krad was showcasing his Deagle. The user translated parts of his streams in which Krad was flaunting his new Desert Eagle skin with the set of stickers. According to the translations posted by Pickle, Kravchenko stated that if you switch to the right-hand view model, it is even better with stickers.

“Look, I bought this new Deagle. It’s cool. Here’s the new one. And if you switch it to the right hand, then it’s even better… with stickers. Sadly I don’t play with right hand.”

ESL Suspends Counter Strike Player for a Month

The Electronic Sports League banned the player for a month from playing in the ECL Counter Strike matches. ESL initially banned Krad for two weeks, but after reviewing the ban, they suspended him for a month. The player posted on a Telegram channel, stating that fans should not repeat his mistakes as the price is very high for such actions. Valve has not taken any action against the player as of now.

Many fans commented on the situation and provided their takes on the matter. After @picklepissiere post on X went viral, Counter Strike fans stated:

“Damn he’s cooked” wrote @skinflowgg.

“Make him an example, get him the f**k outta the scene” commented @wildlifedudley.

“He knows the meaning 100%. Those ugly smirks show the true face of this racist. It’s weird AF that people in 2025 still have problems with other nations\ethnicities. The world is global, please respect each other.” stated @JohntaOfficial.
