You can only find the horse cart at a place called the Barn. It’s a small farm building that usually appears far from the railroad tracks. While driving or exploring, look for green grassy areas with a small hut—that’s your spot. The Barn usually has some good loot, too, like a saddle, a horse (wild or tamed), and junk materials.
Taming the Horse

Your train needs coal to move, but your horse and cart don’t. That makes them perfect for moving around without fuel. On top of that, you can weld turrets or cannons onto the cart to turn it into a mobile battle machine. Add some Sheet Metal for defense, and you’re good to go. Just have a buddy ride while you shoot.
