You might’ve seen players zipping across the map in Dead Rails and wondered, “How are they doing that?” Well, the answer is a horse. More specifically, it’s a glitch involving the Horse Class that’s letting players fly across the map. If you’ve heard the rumors, yes — the Horse Glitch is real, and no — it’s not patched yet.
What Is the Horse Glitch in Dead Rails Roblox?
The Horse Glitch, sometimes called the flying horse glitch, lets you mount a horse and soar through the sky. It even works with a unicorn. With this trick, you can skip the trains entirely and travel across the map in just a few seconds. Players are using this to farm bonds fast and travel without effort.
How Does It Work?
To do this glitch, you’ll need two players. One must have the Horse Class, and the other can be any class, though the Cowboy Class makes things easier since it comes with a saddle.

Once one player has the Horse Class and the other has a saddle, here’s what you do:
- Have the Cowboy Class player use the saddle on the player with the Horse Class.
- The player with the Horse Class should then reset their character.
- After that, the saddle should stay in the spot where the horse was.
- Now, the second player can sit on the saddle and grab the horse’s body.
- Pull the horse toward the ground, sit, and keep holding it.
- Move your camera upward — if it works, you’ll lift off the ground and start flying.
Some players even recommend having your Horse Class friend stand on the class box while you open it. If the saddle appears on them in the right spot, they should leave and rejoin the game. Then, follow the same flying steps again.
This glitch works because the game still sees the horse as active, even after the Horse Class player resets. It lets the second player use that lingering interaction to float through the air.
Is It Fixed Yet?
As of now, no, the glitch hasn’t been patched. It still works in the current version of Dead Rails. But since this is clearly unintended behavior, there’s a good chance the developers will fix it soon. So, if you want to try it out, do it before it’s gone.
