The Tablet of Ruin is a primary artifact that provides a plethora of perks in Destiny 2 Heresy. This artifact can be unlocked after completing the prologue mission of the Echoed Warnings questline. Once obtained, it provides players with special perks that can help them challenge Champion enemies. Some can even synergize well with elemental weapons.

Here is a guide on how you can get the Tablet of Ruin in Destiny 2 Heresy.

How to Unlock Tablet of Ruin in Destiny 2 Heresy

In order to get the Tablet of Ruin in Destiny 2, you must first complete the prologue missions in Episode Heresy titled Espial and Recce. These two missions are part of Act I: Echoed Warnings.

For the first part, you will explore the new area of EDZ or the Dead Zone. Simply follow the objective markers at all times to avoid being lost. You start by destroying three Taken Blights hovering in the air. Once you defeat them, a new path should open.

Once inside, explore the area further and you will encounter the Taken Ogre boss named Garkall, The Gatekeeper. Shoot three floating Blights to make the boss vulnerable. After defeating the boss, take the portal inside the Ascendant Plane. Keep moving through the platforms until you reach the top and board the Dreadnaught.

The next part of Act I: Echoed Warnings in Destiny 2 Heresy will have a cutscene where Eris Morn gets defeated by a Subjugator which is followed by The Drifter. A boss fight will then ensue and you need to defeat them in order to proceed to the next objective. Once it’s done, interact with the Tablet of Ruin and a new objective and a marker will show up. For now, the tablet is a quest item. You will have to move forward first before you can unlock the Tablet of Ruin for use in Destiny 2.

While heading to the objective, avoid enemies named Taken Eyes. They can inflict a debuff that can be annoying to deal with. Make sure you are not seen by them while moving forward to the quest marker.
