Destiny 2: New Origin Traits in the Final Shape

There are three new origin traits in Destiny 2 Final Shape you can get on new weapons.

Destiny 2 - Facet of Devotion - Prismatic Subclass Fragment

The origin traits were added to Destiny 2 in the Witch Queen expansion, which came out in Year 8. These traits are like special perks that are already on weapons when you get them. They give each weapon more unique abilities and effects. So, it’s important to think about these traits when you’re picking your gear.

Here’s a breakdown of what they are and how they work:

  • Unique Buffs: These traits benefit your weapon, adding an extra layer of strategy and customization.
  • Two Types: There are two main categories:
    • Manufacturer Traits: These perks are specific to the weapon’s foundry, like Suros Synergy for Suros weapons.
    • Activity Traits: These perks depend on where you acquired the weapon, like Vanguard’s Vindication for weapons from Vanguard Strikes.
  • Only One Active at a time.

Here are new origin traits:

  • Cast No Shadows
  • Radiolaria Transposer
  • Dealer’s Choice

Cast No Shadows

Dealing melee damage increases this weapon’s handling and loads a small amount of ammo from reserves.

Radiolaria Transposer

Rapid final blows cause targets to explode into a pool of radiolarian fluid.

Dealer’s Choice

Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of Super energy. Equipping multiple weapons from the Pale Heart increases this effect.
