Destiny 2 New Seasonal Vendor Season 20

In Destiny 2, the Seasonal Vendor is a special vendor that appears during each season of the game.  Lightfall and Season 20 Season of Defiance has arrived and with it, the vendor offers unique items, weapons, and armor sets that are exclusive to that season. Guardians in Destiny 2 can purchase these items using a special seasonal currency, which is earned by completing various activities and challenges during the season.

What is Seasonal Vendor in Destiny 2?

The seasonal vendor is typically located in a central hub area, such as the Tower or the Annex. Players can interact with the vendor to browse their inventory and purchase items using seasonal currency. Some of the items available from the seasonal vendor may include:

1. Seasonal Armor Sets – Each season features a new set of armor that can only be obtained during that season.
2. Seasonal Weapons – Similar to armor sets, each season introduces new weapons that can only be obtained during that season.
3. Seasonal Mods – These are special mods that can be applied to armor or weapons to grant unique bonuses and abilities. They are only available during the season they are introduced.
4. Seasonal Ornaments – These are cosmetic items that can be applied to armor and weapons to change their appearance. They are often tied to specific events or activities within the season.

Overall, the seasonal vendor is a key feature of Destiny 2’s seasonal content, offering players a way to obtain exclusive gear and items that are only available for a limited time. Focusing and Upgrades

Each week you can earn one or more upgrades for your War Table by completing Seasonal Challenges found in Season 20 tab, seasonal challenges.  Highlight a section to see what you need to do in order to complete it. Most likely, they will revolve around the current seasonal activity completion and or weapon/ability usage in these activities.  Once earn, you can start spending one or more per week.  Below is the list for Season of Defiance:

Favor Attunement

• EXEMPLAR OF JUSTICE
  • In Seasonal activities, your ability final blows have a chance to create a Favor for you and your allies that improves melee ability recharge.
• EXEMPLAR OF GRACE
  • In Seasonal activities, your final blows with Special ammo have a chance to create a Favor for you and your allies that improves mobility for a brief period of time.
• EXEMPLAR OF ZEAL
  • In Seasonal activities, your final blows with Heavy ammo weapons have a chance to create a Favor for you and your allies that improves grenade ability recharge.

Defiant Vestments

• DEFIANT ARMOR FOCUSING
  • Focus your Defiant Engrams into Seasonal weapons. Requires that weapon in your collection.
• DEFIANT WEAPON FOCUSING
  • Focus your Defiant Engrams into Seasonal weapons. Requires that weapon in your collection.
• DEEPSIGHT DECODING
  • The first Season of Defiance weapon you decode each week will have Deepsight Resonance.
• DEFIANT SOJOURNER
  • When you earn a Defiant Engram by completing non-Battleground activities, you will earn an additional one.

Queensguard Vows

• BATTLEGROUND RICHES
  • Spending a Defiant Key at the end of a Season of Defiance Battleground increases the chances of earning additional Defiant Engrams.
• QUEENSGUARD’S ARSENAL
  • Focusing Season of Defiance weapons and armor grants a small chance to earn a Defiant Key
• VESTIAN WARD
  • Spending a Defiant Key at the end of a Season of Defiance Battleground in which you received Favors of Grace, Justice, and Zeal will award an additional Defiant Engram and War Table reputation.
• LEGENDARY DEEDS
  • Spending a Defiant Key at the end of a Season of Defiance Battleground on Legend difficulty increases the amount of gear granted.

Rank Rewards

• Defiant Weapon Engram (requires rank 2)
  • An engram containing Season of Defiance weapons.
• Caretaker Sword (requires rank 4)
  • Power / Sword
• Defiant Key (requires rank 7)
  • Automatically consumed when opening Season of Defiance Battlegrounds chests to unlock bonus rewards. Defiant Keys are found by completing activities throughout the system.
• Perpetualis (requires level 10 rank)
  • Legendary / Kinetic / Auto Rifle
• Enhancement Prism (requires level 13 rank )
  • Required for forging Masterwork gear. Obtained from challenging activities or purchasable from the Cryptarch in the Tower.
• Prodigal Return (requires rank 16)
  • Legendary / Energy / Grenade Launcher
• Reset Rank Ascendent Shard (requires rank 16)
  • Required for forging Masterwork gear. Obtained from challenging activities or purchasable from the Cryptarch in the Tower.

Weapon Focusing 

Once you unlock the Defiant Weapon Focusing upgrade in the War table, you can begin “focusing” specific weapons. This allows you a chance a deepsight resonate, AKA a crafted weapon pattern.  These are highly sought after because then you can craft your weapon and get the ideal perks and traits.  Additionally, you’ll want to take the upgrade Deepsight Decoding to guarantee a deepsight once a week.

• Royal Executioner Fusion Rifle
• Perpetualis Auto Rifle
• Prodigal Return Grenade Launcher
• Regnant Grenade Launcher
• Caretaker Sword
