Magazine: Ricochet rounds are the choice for our mag. These give a slight boost in range and in stability while giving a passive bonus that the bullets can ricochet around dealing damage even if you miss.

Column 3 Perk: The must have perk here is Compulsive Reloader, as it gives a massive boost in reload speed when at the top half of our magazine. Its important to help proc our last perk for maximum uptime.

Column 4 Perk: Lastly, Voltshot fantastic on this. Voltshot gives the weapon fantastic low health enemy clear potential while being strong at dishing out massive damage. This also has great synergy with the arc subclass making it even stronger with the right build.

Masterwork: Our masterwork of choice is Reload. Paired with our other perks this will near max our reload when in the top half of the magazine letting us proc voltshot more often to optimal uptime.

Mod: Minor spec in your mod slot gives you increased damage to minor enemies. This is important to help kill the enemies we prioritized with a primary ammo weapon.

Conclusion: Pulses are incredibly strong in PVE used heavily in higher end content. With the proper perks on the weapon the Phyllotactic Spiral can clear hordes of low health enemies and deal with high health targets all with a single weapon.

Column 3 Perk: We are going with a new perk called Keep Away. This gives a boost in reload, range, and accuracy when no enemies are nearby. This is great to increase our stats as long as we aren’t super close to our enemies.

Column 4 Perk: Kill clip is a must have PVP perk. Pulses have great kill potential so securing your first kill is quite easier and kill clip makes the second kill even easier with a large damage boost.

Masterwork: Handling masterwork is the must have to allow us to aim down sights and swap weapons faster should we need to get back to the weapon to finish off a kill or swap to a special weapon to contest an enemy.

Mod: Targeting Adjuster is a great choice here. This gives a small boost in your aim assist making your bullets more likely to hit the target.

Conclusion: Pulses are still incredibly strong in PVP with really good range, time to kill, and ease of use. The Phyllotactic Spiral is no exception giving anyone a chance to slay out in PVP with strong perks and great stats.
