How to Obtain the Pre Astyanax IV in Destiny 2
Pre Astyanax IV can be obtained from the Nightfall playlist. It can only be obtained on certain weeks in a rotation and higher difficulty Nightfalls have a higher drop chance. Pre Astyanax IV (Adept) can only be earned by completing Grandmaster Nightfalls when it is the weekly reward. Once the weapon has been earned you can focus it at Commander Zavala for Vanguard Engrams, Glimmer, and Legendary Shards. The Adept version can only be focused on the weeks it is the weekly Grandmaster reward and only with a 10 Nightfall Ciphers.

Bows are definitely one of the weaker archetypes in PvP due to their slow time to kill and unforgiveness if missing shots. Most being over half a second in draw time, if you miss your initial shots there is a good chance you don’t get to land any others. Even with these weaknesses, they are incredibly powerful in team shooting due to their high damage allowing your teammates to clean up kills even if you cannot.
Pre Astyanax IV is no slouch when it comes to PvP perks, boasting some great accuracy and consistency perks. The combination of Archer’s Tempo and Opening Shot is one of the best pairings available to allow high accuracy and the ability to shoot a second clean up shot if your first is a headshot.
