How To Get Psychopomp in Destiny 2
Like any other Heretical weapon, you can obtain the Psychopomp by completing Heresy activities, notably the Nether activity. Completing the encounters, looting secret chests, or defeating the bosses can drop Psychopomp as one of the possible rewards. You can increase your chance of obtaining this seasonal weapon by using the Episodic Weapons and Crumbling Grenade Launchers Scriptures at the Tome of Want.

Destiny 2 Psychopomp God Rolls for PvE & PvP
A God Roll refers to the ideal combination of perks and traits that maximizes a weapon’s capability to its full potential. Learning the god rolls for PvE and PvP is essential in Destiny 2, as it provides a significant advantage over enemies and other players.

Rolling Storm, a new perk introduced with Heresy, grants Bolt Charge for Psychopomp with final blows, while Ambitious Assassin overflows the magazine after rapid kills. Additionally, Eddy Current and Envious Arsenal are strong alternative trait choices for PvE.

As for PvP, the Area-Denial Frame archetype may not be as effective as others. However, with the right rolls, Psychopomp can be a decent supporting weapon, dealing substantial AoE damage. To increase your velocity, handling, and projectile speed, opt for Quick Launch and High-Velocity Rounds.
Threat Detector is arguably one of the best perks for Psychopomp in PvP, as it boosts your reload, stability, and handling when enemies are nearby while also granting additional stacks.
Since Psychopomp functions best as a support weapon, frequent weapon switching may be necessary. In that case, Harmony is the best choice, as it boosts the damage and performance of Psychopomp after scoring a final blow with another weapon. You can also opt for Full Court and Eddy Current traits for a more versatile approach.
