Reckless Oracle is a void rapid-fire auto rifle introduced in the Garden of Salvation Raid from the Shadowkeep Expansion. Garden of Salvation weapons were updated and revised during Episode: Revenant. Rapid-fire frame auto rifles are a favorite for a lot of content as a primary weapon because of their ease of use and fast fire rate. The Reckless Oracle is fully craftable as of Episode Revenant. This guide will discuss the PvE and PvP god rolls and how to get the Reckless Oracle auto rifle.

How to Get Reckless Oracle in Destiny 2
You obtain the Reckless Oracle from the Garden of Salvation raid on the Moon. Specifically, the Reckless Oracle can drop from the raid’s 2nd Encounter, Summon, or any hidden chest after acquiring it at least once from the said encounter. To access Garden of Salvation, you must own the Shadowkeep expansion. As of Episode Revenant, the Reckless Oracle can be crafted at the Enclave once you have unlocked its Deepsight pattern. To unlock crafting for the Reckless Oracle, you must extract 5 patterns from Deepsight versions of the weapon.
To acquire the Deepsight Pattern of the Garden of Salvation Weapons, players must go to the Clan Vendor, Suraya Hawthorne at the Tower and acquire the “Deepsight Signal” quest. This quest guarantees a red border weapon on completion and only requires that every encounter in the raid be completed. This quest can be completed weekly and once completed the player can purchase an additional Deepsight weapon the player has unlocked in collections. Deepsight Patterns can also sometimes drop with the weapons acquired during the raid itself or have it applied to them with a Deepsight Harmonizer.
What Is the Reckless Oracle God Roll in Destiny 2?
A god roll is the best combination of perks and masterwork that a weapon can get. God rolls are often sought after as they are considered the ultimate drop of that weapon and the most effective roll used in most content. In most situations, there are two god rolls for any gun, a roll for PvE and one for PvP. The Reckless Oracle god rolls are by no means unique, but they are currently only available for the rapid-fire frame energy slot on this weapon. The PvE roll is a void synergy mainstay while the PvP roll builds into using the the weapon more consistently.
PvE Reckless Oracle God Roll
The best perks for the Reckless Oracle PvE God Roll are Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Destabilizing Rounds, and Repulsor Brace. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

PvE Breakdown
Rapid-fire frame auto rifles like the Reckless Oracle are highly favored in PvE. They have large magazines and a high rate of fire, making them perfect for clearing out minor combatants and taking out the shields of even large foes. Their high fire rate comes with the caveat of typically bad recoil direction, so Arrowhead Brake is a sure pick on this weapon. Appended Mag increases the large magazine even further, and taking a Reload Speed masterwork is helpful as well.
The combination of Destabilizing Rounds and Repulsor Brace is a common choice for void weapons because of its synergy. So it should come as no surprise that this is what we chose for the best roll on this weapon. If you aren’t as interested in using a void subclass a combination like Subsistence and One for All may be more your speed. It could be argued there are better option for PvE if you aren’t building into the void synergy though so mileage may vary.
PvP Reckless Oracle God Roll
The best perks for the Omniscient Eye PvP God Roll are Hammer-Forged Rifling, Ricochet Rounds, Tap the Trigger, and Closing Time. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

- Column 4 Trait: Dynamic Sway Reduction

PvP Breakdown
Rapid-fire frame auto rifles are a contentious option in PvP. They do well at close ranges but tend to operate within the same playing field as submachine guns and do worse. This of course isn’t always true but is worth mentioning so you make the right weapon choices. Since their range suffers, traits like Hammer-forged Rifling and Ricochet Rounds are huge boons to the weapon. You can further build off of this with a Range and a Ballistics mod.
We want to try and make the Reckless Oracle as forgiving as possible. Getting rounds on target and then keeping them there will be more difficult on such a high-rpm weapon. Traits like Tap the Trigger for the initial accuracy boost and Dynamic Sway Reduction to keep your reticle in place will make this weapon feel a lot better. If you are more confident in your thumb or mouse game, Kill Clip can help with that body shot TTK that will be much more important than precision TTK on the Reckless Oracle.

There are 7 legendary weapons and one exotic weapon found in the Garden of Salvation raid. The Garden of Salvation has 4 primary weapons, 4 special weapons, and no heavy weapons.
