Riiswalker is a kinetic lightweight frame shotgun reintroduced during Season of the Wish, with some minor perk changes brought about in Episode Echoes. Lightweight frame shotguns are in general solid options for PvP, and Riiswalker has the perks to make it an awesome pick. It isn’t grandiose or overpowered, but simply a solid option in all respects.

The best perks for Riiswalker PVE God Roll are Smallbore, Assualt Mag, Threat Remover, and Vorpal Weapon. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

Riiswalker is a decent choice if you need a lightweight frame shotgun for the Kinetic slot. Like most shotguns in PvE the barrel perk isn’t as important as the other options. Assault Mag is always a great choice in PvE for the fire rate increase. Threat Remover is a new addition on the gun and adds enough to put it a touch above the rest of the choices in Column 3. Column 4 doesn’t have a lot of options that are great for PvE with the best choice being Vorpal Weapon.
Riiswalker is a functional shotgun for PvE, but it doesn’t have the perks to make it unique. It shares a slot and archetype with Swordbreaker, one of the best options in the same family, the only difference being that Swordbreaker is Strand. Overall, this isn’t one worth chasing but one you can use if you need too.

The best perks for Riiswalker PVP God Roll are Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, and Opening Shot. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

Riiswalker deserves a seat at the table with good PvP shotguns, even if it isn’t the best. Increasing its range is as usual a great option, so perks like Smallbore and Accurized Rounds are fantastic picks. It is really hard to beat the shotgun PvP combo of Slideshot and Opening Shot. They are simply great perks that increase the weapon’s effectiveness just by playing with the gun normally.
As stated before, Riiswalker is not the best PvP shotgun, but it is good and a solid pick. Its faster handling allows for quicker swaps and you can even move faster in general with it than other archetypes. Its nothing special or overpowered, but it is a solid work horse. Worth picking up if you don’t already have a go to PvP shotgun for the kinetic slot.
How to Get Riiswalker in Destiny 2
Riiswalker can be obtained from any Iron Banner Reward source. Once the gun has been earned you can focus it at Lord Saladin for Iron Banner Engrams and Glimmer. Iron Banner is a limited-time game mode that comes once every couple of months for two weeks. Each week a different mode of Iron Banner is featured.
