Why Should You Play Prismatic Titan in PVE?
PVE Prismatic Titan is a brand new subclass released in Destiny 2 with the Final Shape expansion. The Prismatic subclass allows for combining different points of the various subclasses into one powerful subclass. This is going to lead to some interesting and powerful combinations. The object of the subclass is to combine and customize a subclass exactly how you want it to release the most carnage. Find out all the details on how to craft, create, and optimize our Prismatic Titan PVE Build.

Abilities
The best abilities for the Prismatic Titan PVE Build are the Frenzied Blade, Shackle Grenade, and Twilight Arsenal. The Frenzied Blade is a melee that can sever any target hit and also gives us three melee charges. Also, Shackle Grenade provides us way to take combatants out of the fight and apply the darkness debuff suspend. Lastly, Twilight Arsenal gives us a high burst damage super that weakens targets and creates additional axes that can be used to deal further damage.
Twilight Arsenal – A powerful burst damage super that weakens targets and creates 3 additional axes that can be used by anyone in the fireteam.
Thruster – Activating this class ability to quickly evade in a lateral direction
Catapult Lift – A Titan lift that allows for fast movement and control.
Shackle Grenade – A grenade that suspends enemy targets, taking them out of the fight for a few seconds.
Frenzied Blade – Multiple charge melee that lungs forward and severs enemies hit.
The most important ability we use in this build is our Frenzied Blade melee. While powerful on its own, when paired with the Consecration aspect, this melee can effectively allow us to use three powerful ignition-causing melees. If we have used our Shackle Grenades on the target our melee will do even more damage to it. Lastly, our Twilight Arsenal can deal a huge amount of damage and weaken the target it hits.
Aspects
The best aspects to use with our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are Knockout and Consecration. Knockout boosts the effectiveness of our melee attacks, which is a huge part of this build. Also, Consecration turns our melee into a powerful ignition-making ranged attack that is effective with groups of enemies and single targets.
Knockout – Critically wounding a target or breaking their shield improves melee range and damage. Melee kills amplify and heal you.
Consecration – Activate your charged melee while sliding to scorch enemies in front of you, activate it a second time to send out a second wave that ignites any scorched targets.
Knockout is a great passive choice from the Arc kit that makes our melees much more effective without needing to do to much to activate. Lastly, Consecration is essential for this build to be effective by causing huge amounts of solar ignitions, being our primary form of doing damage with our abilities.
Fragments
The best fragments for our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are the Facet of Dawn, the Facet of Courage, the Facet of Protection, the Facet of Ruin, and the Facet of Blessing. These either improve our melee and ignitions for more damage or provide our Titan with healing or protection.
Facet of Dawn : Powered melee kills grant make you and your allies radiant.
Facet of Courage : Light based abilities do more damage to targets effected by a Darkness based debuff.
Facet of Protection : Gain increased damage resistance when surrounded by enemies.
Facet of Ruin : Increases the effects of shatter and ignitions.
Facet of Blessing : Melee final blows start health regeneration.
Facet of Dawn and Facet of Ruin are crucial for this build as they both make our Consecration melee do much more damage and improve our damage overall with radiant. Facet of Blessing and Facet of Protection provides additional survivability giving us damage resistance while we are near enemies and heals us melee kills. Lastly, Facet of Courage further improves our damage against the targets we suspend.
Weapons
The best weapons for our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are The Call, The Summoner, and Microcosm. Microcosm is the star of the show allowing us to deal insane damage against single targets and large groups of enemies. Also, The Call is our main weapon for dealing with most of our enemies until it runs out of ammo or we are in a situation where we are taking a lot of damage. Lastly, The Summoner is a powerful primary weapon that debuffs our enemies with scorch and can heal us on a reload with Heal Clip. This provides us with a much needed source of healing that our kit doesn’t have much access to.
Here’s a list of the best weapon loadouts for our Prismatic Titan PVE Build:
- Kinetic: The Call, Strand Rocket-Assisted Frame Sidearm
- Energy: The Summoner, Solar Adaptive Frame Autorifle
- Heavy: Microcosm, Exotic Kinetic Trace Rifle
Alternatively, run a more damage-focused weapon in the kinetic slot, such as Izanagi’s Burden or Irukanji. If you go this route, something like Apex Predator or Whisper of the Worm are your best choices for a heavy weapon. Summoner is still the best option in the energy slot, but something like No Hesitation is also powerful if you need to play support role.
Exotic Armor
The best exotic armor for the Prismatic Titan PVE build is the new exotic Titan class item, Stoicism. These new exotic class items can drop with two pre-existing exotic perks on one item. This allows unrivaled combinations and adjustments within Destiny 2 build crafting. The two perks we want with this build are the Spirit of Inmost Light and the Spirit of Synthocepts. Spirit of Inmost Light makes our abilities stronger when we use other abilities. Spirit of Synthocepts makes our melee attacks do a lot more damage when we are surrounded by enemies. Combining these both makes our Consecration melees do an incredible amount of damage.
Armor Stats
The best stats to focus on in our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are Resilience, Discipline, and Strength. These provide us with survivability, reduce our class ability cooldown, and reduce our grenade and melee cooldowns.
- Mobility: 10
- Resilience: 100
- Recovery: 40
- Discipline: 100
- Intellect: 30
- Strength: 100
Armor Mods
The best armor mods for our Prismatic PVE Build are Impact Induction, Momentum Transfer, and Outreach. These allow us to continue our grenade and melee loop that this build utilizes

Arms | Heavy Handed | Momentum Transfer | Impact Induction |

Gameplay Tips
This Prismatic Titan PVE Build utilizes our regular gameplay loop of melees, grenades, and super to keep enemies at bay. However, one of the massive changes with Prismatic is known as Transcendence. Transcendence is a sudo-super mode of the subclass that is triggered upon filling up a dark and light bar located under your super. Once these are both filled, you can enter Transcendence which gives us boosted melee and grenade recharge rates, boosted weapon damage, and extra resistances. Also, we gain access to a transcendence-specific grenade for Titan called the Electrified Snare. This is a grenade charged with both arc and strand energy that explodes and suspends nearby targets. Any enemies caught in the suspension take heavy damage over time and chains jolting lightning to any nearby enemies. Balancing this light and darkness bar and utilizing Transcendence to its height damage will provide the build with unparalleled power.
Start off any battle by throwing your shackle grenade either at the largest group or largest target that can be suspended. After that cast thruster to move toward them and buff your melee even further, ending in a slide melee to proc Consecration. This should decimate the suspended enemies. At this point continue to engage combatants with weapons and Consecration until you get your grenade back, then rinse and repeat. Once you can go Transcendent make sure you do to make this loop even stronger. Use your super Twilight Arsenal to take out big targets and create more axes to take out smaller foes as well.
