Destiny 2 Prismatic Titan PVE Build

This build will be updated upon the release of the Final Shape in Season 24.

Why Should You Play Prismatic Titan in PVE?

PVE Prismatic Titan is a brand new subclass released in Destiny 2 with the Final Shape expansion. While we don’t know every detail of the subclass available, we are sure this subclass will be one of the strongest things given to our guardians. The Prismatic subclass allows for combining different points of the various subclasses into one powerful subclass. This is going to lead to some interesting and powerful combinations. The object of the subclass is to combine and customize a subclass exactly how you want it to release the most carnage. Find out all the details on how to craft, create, and optimize our Prismatic Titan PVE Build.

Abilities

The best abilities for the Prismatic Titan PVE Build are the Frenzied Blade, Pulse Grenade, and Bladefury. The Frenzied Blade is a melee that can sever any target hit. Also, Pulse Grenade provides a large area-of-effect damage grenade. Lastly, Bladefury gives us a high burst damage super that can help control hordes of trash enemies by suspending them.

Bladefury

Thruster

Strafe Jump

Pulse Grenade

Frenzied Blade

Bladefury – Heavy attacks suspend targets hit, light attacks sever and deal bonus damage to suspended targets.

Thruster – Activating this class ability to quickly evade in a lateral direction

Strafe Jump – The most common jump for a PVE titan due to its easy of use and strong control

Pulse Grenade – Grenade that deals damage over time in an area as it pulses

Frenzied Blade – Multiple charge melee that lungs forward and severs enemies hit

The most important abilities we use in this build are our Frenzied Blade and Pulse Grenade. These, when paired with our aspect and fragments will give us constant ability energy and buffs. Also, they are fantastic for debuffing enemies by severing or jolting them. Lastly, our Bladefury provides us massive burst damage and the ability to control enemies’ movements with suspend.

Aspects

The best aspects to use with our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are Unbreakable and Consecration. Unbreakable provides us with a defective shield upon consuming our grenade. Also, Consecration makes our powered melee and trash mob-clearing monster.

  • Unbreakable: Consume your grenade to create a shield that absorbs damage and releases it in a damage wave
  • Consecration: Activate your charged melee while sliding to scorch enemies in front of you, activate it a second time to send out a second wave that ignites any scorched targets.

Unbreakable is essential with this build since it provides a solar debuff and area-of-effect damage grenade for getting kills. Lastly, Consecration provides us with a survivability buff by making us invisible after killing an enemy affected by a subclass debuff.

Fragments

The best fragments for our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are the Facet of Dawn, the Facet of Purpose, the Facet of Protection, the Facet of Balance, and the Facet of Bravery. Since these provide us with damage resistance, damage boost, and ability energy.

  • Facet of Dawn: Powered melee hits and kills give radiance to us and nearby allies
  • Facet of Purpose: Picking up an orb of power grants one survivability buff depending upon the equipped super
  • Facet of Protection: While surrounded by enemies, you have increased resistance
  • Facet of Balance: Rapidly defeating enemies with Light damage gives melee energy. Rapidly defeating enemies with Dark damage gives grenade energy
  • Facet of Bravery: Defeating targets with grenades grants volatile rounds to void weapons, and defeating targets with powered melees grants unraveling rounds to strand weapons

Facet of Dawn and Facet of Balance are the most important fragments for our build since they provide a constant damage buff and allow us to continue our gameplay loop. Facet of Purpose and Facet of Protection provide us with some additional survivability giving us damage resistance while we are near enemies and providing a void overshield with our equipped super. Lastly, Facet of Bravery provides our weapons with subclass debuffs.

Weapons

The best weapons for our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are Swordbreaker, The Recluse, and Parasite. The Parasite is the star of the show allowing us to deal insane burst damage by building up charges on the weapon. Also, Swordbreaker provides us with a great burst damage weapon and can boost our powered melees. Lastly, The Recluse is one of the strongest void submachine guns for PVE in the game due to its fire rate and trash mob clearing. It pairs great by providing us with constant debuffs on targets for our build.

Here’s a list of the best weapon loadouts for our Prismatic Titan PVE Build:

  • Kinetic: Swordbreaker, Strand Lightweight Shotgun
  • Energy: The Recluse, Void Lightweight Submachine Gun
  • Heavy: Parasite, Exotic Solar Grenade Launcher

Alternatively, you can run any legendary special weapon in the kinetic slot. However, you should prioritize a weapon that has great burst damage other aspects of our build handle trash clearing well. Also, it should be a Strand to pair with our aspect for the most synergy. Any void weapons will perform well but something with constant damage is best. For our heavy, burst damage is king so if you swap out choose something that can have high damage per second.

Exotic Armor

The best exotic armor for the Prismatic Titan PVE build is the new exotic Titan class item. While we don’t know all the details of this new exotic armor, we do know it will provide us with two exotic perks on one item. Also, we know that the perks are not bound to one class allowing the use of exotic perks that previously only one class had access to. As we learn more about this new exotic, we will update this section with our recommended perk choices for the build.

Armor Stats

The best stats to focus on in our Prismatic Titan PVE Build are Resilience, Recovery, and Discipline. Since these provide us with survivability, reduce our class ability cooldown, and reduce our grenade cooldown.

  • Mobility: 20
  • Resilience: 100
  • Recovery: 100
  • Disciple: 100
  • Intellect: 50
  • Strength: 50

Armor Mods

The best armor mods for our Prismatic PVE Build are Hands-On, Heavy Handed, and Bomber. Since these build into our ability and super regeneration.

Gameplay Tips

This Prismatic Titan PVE Build utilizes our regular gameplay loop of melees, grenades, and super to keep enemies at bay. However, one of the massive changes with Prismatic is known as Transcendence. Transcendence is a sudo-super mode of the subclass that is triggered upon filling up a dark and light bar located under your super. Once these are both filled, you can enter Transcendence which gives us boosted melee and grenade recharge rates, boosted weapon damage, and extra resistances. Also, we gain access to a transcendence-specific grenade for Titan called the Electrified Snare. This is a grenade charged with both arc and strand energy that explodes and suspends nearby targets. Any enemies caught in the suspension take heavy damage over time and chains jolting lightning to any nearby enemies. Balancing this light and darkness bar and utilizing Transcendence to its height damage will provide the build with unparalleled power.

Our melee and our grenade are quite powerful and fantastic trash mob controllers. Also, our super not only provides damage but feeds into our trash mod clearing ability. This makes it capable of dealing massive single-target boss damage while clearing out any trash enemies that are in the vicinity.
