So, players upgrade over time as you play with them in your roster. One of the determining factors of how quickly or fluidly the stats of a player progress during the game year is through development traits. To understand any player’s development trait, you would need to have a coach with the Mind Reader ability as one of their strategist archetypes. Afterwards, you can view a player’s development trait once they are a part of your roster or when you sign them. There are a total of four development traits that can be assigned to each player, after which, by pressing the corresponding button on your console, you will be able to see which development trait the player has.
The Four Development Traits in College Football 25
- Normal Development Trait
This is the development trait assigned to most players. With an average stat and attribute progression, their progress may look a bit slow but is very steady throughout their career.
- Impact Development Trait
Players with this development trait will progress at a faster pace than those with the normal development trait, and they have a higher ceiling as well. However, they are highly-rated players who are not quite at the level of superstars, but they are important for your roster nonetheless.
- Star Development Trait
Players with this trait are quite rare, and these players develop quickly throughout their career. They are superstars and can lead your team to countless victories.
- Elite Development Trait
This trait belongs to the top-most players in the entire country. These players are once-in-a-lifetime talent who have the potential to be amongst college football’s all-time greatest players. So understandably, you will cherish these players.
Players with higher development traits will have a star icon on their player profile in College Football 25, and most of their stat and attribute increases come during offseason training. So it is very important to have a good coach and a good team so that all players can grow to levels that form coherent teamplay. However, gamers are sure to have tons of fun with all the previous and new game modes that come in this amazing game.
