Diablo 4 is all about the dungeon raiding experience in search of the best loot, bosses, and weapons. Through the course of the game, you will run through several dungeons. But no amount of dungeon-raiding experience will prepare you for the Echo of Hatred dungeon in the game.

The Echo of Hatred in Diablo 4 is a Capstone dungeon in the game and by far one of the hardest. This difficulty comes mainly from the final boss, who caps off the Echo of Hatred dungeon.

Capstone dungeons in Diablo 4 are important stepping stones between World Tiers. The Echo of Hatred Dungeon is a World Tier 4 Capstone dungeon and one you must complete if you wish to experience all that Diablo 4 has to offer. The road is far from easy, but that is where this guide comes in clutch. In this guide, we shall go over the Echo of Hatred dungeon in Diablo 4.

Where Is the Echo of Hatred Dungeon?

You unlock the Echo of Hatred dungeon by reaching World Tier 4 in Diablo 4. If you haven’t unlocked this tier yet, you can do so by completing the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in World Tier 3. This will give you access to World Tier 4, and you can then find the Echo of Hatred dungeon marker on your map. The Echo of Hatred dungeon marker is towards the right of the Nevesk waypoint in the Fractured Peaks location.

How To Complete the Echo of Hatred

Once the Echo of Hatred dungeon is marked on your map, make your way to the dungeon and interact with the red petals on the ground to enter the Echo of Hatred. Follow the path straight to reach the Throne of Hatred. Slow down as you enter the Throne Room, as the dungeon boss will drop in from above and could damage you. The Echo of Lilith is the dungeon boss in this room and is all by herself. While a lone boss may seem easy, do not let your guard down. The task is far from easy.

As the first phase kicks off, Echo of Lilith will mostly rely on basic swipes and jumping attacks to deal damage. You can use the opening between the attacks to slide in right under her, where you will have i-frames from the attacks. Standing right under her will keep you safe, while also letting you slice away undeterred. A high DPS build will come in clutch in this scenario. If you’re unable to time your approach correctly, rely on the old dodge-and-slash strategy to win the phase.

The second phase sees her pick her slack up. She will summon a blood circle and will then submerge in the blood. After a few seconds, she will reappear in the sky and will start dealing damage from above while moving around. It is crucial that you follow her as she moves. She often uses a wall of fire, so stay behind her when the attack starts. The ground you’re on will then crumble, so cross across to the other side. Keep chipping away at her HP while dodging to attain victory.
