You have to find one of two Legendary Aspects to unlock this ability. They are:
- Aspect of Accursed Touch
- Aspect of Metamorphosis
In the case of Accursed Touch, you will need to inflict a Lucky Hit to stand a chance of unleashing the Vampiric Curse. Even then, there is a 44% likelihood that the Lucky hit will also inflict the curse. Any enemy affected by the curse has a 15% chance of spreading it to others.
The Metamorphosis Aspect has a guaranteed Vampiric Curse infliction, and it also allows you to turn into a cloud of bats every time you Evade incoming attacks. Keep in mind that you’ll still need to cast a Macabre, Agility, or Defense skill to unleash damage from the stored souls.
The Defensive skills are available to Druid, Sorcerer, and Barbarian classes. You can use Agility skills when playing as a Rogue. Lastly, the Macabre skills are available to the Necromancer class.
You also need to find appropriate gear that allows you to level it up for Legendary Aspects. Once you have such a gear in your inventory, you just need to pick the skill relevant to your class that can release the power of the stored souls.
