Twitch streamer Kai Cenat used a flamethrower inside the AMP house during a stream. Fortunately, the situation didn’t escalate into a fire.
Twitch streamer Kai Cenat is currently one of the biggest streamers and content creators in the online scene. Much of his fame comes from his engaging content, which often turns wild. One such incident happened during a September 2024 stream, during which he decided to start his broadcast by showcasing a newly acquired gadget of his – a flamethrower. The incendiary device is designed to project a stream of fire in a certain direction. However, these devices can also be very dangerous if not handled with caution.
The stream in question saw the Twitch streamer pull out a real-life flamethrower. Cenat then proceeded to demonstrate the fire in front of his live viewers. While the fire emitted had quite a long range, it did not burn anything. Cenat too stayed unharmed. For those wondering whether it is legal to carry such a device – Federal law in the USA considers it a tool, not a firearm. So, flamethrowers are legal in 48 states in the USA and are only restricted in California and Maryland.
Kai Cenat Burns Down Faux-Streaming Room With MrBeast
While Kai Cenat might not have burned down the AMP house with a flamethrower, he did set off a fire during his latest 4th of July stream. For context, he kicked off the broadcast with fellow YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” by setting up an array of fireworks in the room.
Shortly afterward, fellow AMP member Davis “ImDavisss” entered the room and got into a spat with Cenat. He then lit one of the fireworks, triggering a chain reaction that ended up burning down the entire room.
However, it was later revealed that the entire event was staged. MrBeast and Kai Cenat had collaborated to create a replica of Cenat’s actual streaming room in the AMP house. The fireworks, though, were real. The creators later shared footage of the aftermath, showcasing the burned-down setup. Here’s what it looked like from the outside:
Not The First Streamer To Light Fireworks Indoors
While Kai Cenat and MrBeast may have only set off fireworks in a makeshift house to prank their audience, another streamer, Darren “IShowSpeed,” famously lit a firework inside his actual room during his 4th of July stream in 2022.
Unsurprisingly, lighting fireworks in a closed room is a bad idea. However, the then-17-year-old streamer went ahead recklessly, causing chaos that led to his mother reprimanding him and calling the fire department. Fortunately, neither the streamer nor his room was harmed.
