Adin Ross is a part-owner of Kick.com and the second most followed streamer on the platform with 1.5 million followers.
Former Twitch and current Kick streamer Adin Ross is a well-known face in the online industry today. Ross is not only a streamer on the Stake.com-owned platform but is also a part-owner of the company. For those unaware, the streamer signed a lucrative deal with Kick.com back in March 2023. Since then, he became the platform’s first streamer to reach 1 million followers. Ross is currently the second most followed streamer on the platform, with over 1.5 million followers. The only streamer ahead of him is WestCOL, who has 1.6 million followers.
While the monetary details surrounding his deal with Kick aren’t quite known, Ross has previously spoken about his relationship with Kick and how he owns “equity” in the company. He did, however, also clarify that he isn’t an owner of Stake.com, the company that backs Kick.com (the owner and creator of Kick – Ed Craven – is also Stake.com’s owner). While speaking to Bradley Martyn, Ross declared:
“(I am an owner) of Kick, yeah. Of Stake, no. I have equity in Kick.”
When asked how much he owns, the streamer replied:
“It’s a good amount.”
Who Are The Other Owners Of Kick.com? Exploring Adin Ross’ Streaming Platform
Adin Ross isn’t the only owner of the company. Fellow Twitch streamer Tyler “Trainwreckstv” spearheaded the streaming company’s launch. He is also a part-owner of Kick. However, the primary stakeholders in the streaming company are CEO Eddie Craven (@StakeEddie) and Bijan Tehrani (@BijanTehrani).
Both Stake and Kick have secured several sponsorship deals. Stake sponsors English football clubs like Gillingham, Watford, and Everton, Indian football team Mumbai City, USA Cricket, Argentine footballer Sergio Agüero (who also streams on Kick), and Canadian rapper Drake.
Everton’s main sleeve sponsor is Kick. Beyond football, it sponsors the Alfa Romeo F1 Team and Sauber’s esports team, branded as the Alfa Romeo F1 Team KICK Esports.
Is Adin Ross Free To Stream On Twitch?
Although Adin Ross was a part-owner of Kick, he was still streaming on Twitch when he first signed with the platform. Twitch then issued his eighth and ongoing ban, cutting him off from his audience of over 7.2 million followers, which made him one of the platform’s most-followed streamers.
Twitch never disclosed the exact reason for Adin Ross’s suspension, but he shared that it was due to “hateful conduct.” Despite the ban, he has expressed a desire to be unbanned, as he hopes to collaborate with other streamers on the platform. This suggests that his deal with Kick isn’t exclusive.
Since then, Ross has been embroiled in various allegations and controversies that have kept him away from Twitch. Kick, in general, has gained a notorious reputation for hosting toxic streamers and often problematic content. Despite these controversies, the platform’s owners have expressed a commitment to creating a safer and more inclusive environment.
