The latest entry in the Dynasty Warriors series is set to make things bigger and better using the power of current-gen hardware. The increased focus on gameplay, too, has us beyond excited, and the sentiment is ringing through among gamers worldwide. If you happen to find yourself caught up in the hype as a player new to the series, the massive backlog of 10+ games over nearly three decades can make the series appear a little hard to get into.

Origins, too, will go over the major players involved in this period of history, set 150 years after the formation of the Eastern Han Dynasty. So, if it is the story you are worried about, there is not much you are missing out on, and Origins should do enough to fill in the gaps.
Another thing that most fans of the series agree upon is that you play Dynasty Warriors for its gameplay. Fans often consider the story an added bonus, and many seem to hold onto that sentiment heading into Origins. The game will bring in tons of features and gameplay changes to make Origins the most polished Dynasty Warriors in terms of gameplay so far. So, if gameplay is your concern, Origins is likely to be as polished and refined as it gets until the next entry in the series.
