I wanted to create a simple ESO Gear Sets list prior to Imperial City for folks that need some directions and what to obtain. This is by no means a definitive list, but you might want to start collecting these items and sets because you never know when they’ll disappear!

Ebony Armor Set
- Obtained – Drops from bosses in the following Veteran Dungeons: Banished Cells, Spindleclutch, Fungal Grotto, Wayrest Sewers, Elden Hollow & Darkshade Caverns
- Usage – Ideal for trials of PvP group of 12 or fewer.
Hircine’s Veneer Set
- Obtained – Drops from bosses in the following Veteran Dungeons: Banished Cells, Spindleclutch, Fungal Grotto, Wayrest Sewers, Elden Hollow & Darkshade Caverns
- Usage – Ideal for trials of PvP group of 12 or fewer.
Worm’s Raiment Set
- Obtained – Drops from bosses in the following Veteran Dungeons: Banished Cells, Spindleclutch, Fungal Grotto, Wayrest Sewers, Elden Hollow & Darkshade Caverns
- Usage – Ideal for trials of PvP group of 12 or fewer.
Important Monster Mask (drop from various dungeons)
Blood Spawn’s Set
- Obtained – Helm drops from final boss in Spindleclutch (shoulders part of Undaunted Gold Key). Click here for Gold Key video guide.
- Usage – Great for Dragonknights or any build centered on ultimate or stamina recovery.
Engine Guardian Set
- Obtained -Helm drop from final boss in Darkshade Veteran mode (shoulders part of Undaunted Gold Key). Click here for Gold Key video guide.
- Usage – My favorite drop set ever (EVER). Tanking, DPS or PvP this set is strong for people that need resources. Trust me you want this one.
Valkyn Skoria
- Obtained – Helm drop from final boss in City of Ash Veteran mode (shoulders part of Undaunted Gold Key). Click here for City of Ash video guide.
- Usage -DPS focused builds that have damage over time effects OR channeled abilities (such as Radiant Oppression).

Hello Deltia, nice guide again. So, i have a Templar healer and trying to find worm cult set pieces, too hard in console, not enough players 🙁
I need an advice, What can I use craftable set as an alternative to the worm cult set? (I can craft seducer, magnus, willows, etc)

Since vet levels are being raised, wouldn’t it be prudent to wait to collect these?
As stated in the video, ZOS has been known to remove sets.
Hey Deltia have a question for you. I’m new to tanking so I have been looking at a lot of different builds for a tanks and I believe in one of your video you said to get the undaunted passive undaunted mettle and to have 5 heavy, one medium, and one light and in this you only have heavy and light so should I got with the 5,1,1 or just do the 5,2?
Suggestion: How about depreciated sets? Do you keep sets like Undaunted Bastion, Infiltrator etc.? Or do you sell of deconstruct them?

Yo deltia so I’m running this stamina night made vr 6 Xbox one I’m setting at 1986 weapon damage with my bow un buffed with my current set up. But now I’m out leveling this current gear. 2 piece red mountain, 2 piece kynes flight, three piece dreugh king slayer, five piece hunding’s rage. I only have three dreugh when I equip sword and only have five piece of hundings when I use my bow its been a very nice set. But I don’t see anything higher then vr 5 in dreugh and kyne and well you know what I’m saying. All the sets you list for weapon damage is pvp stuff is there anything else out there to use between 5 and 14 that’s not from pvp. Thanks for all the info you give us man I should get paid for all the people I send your way lol but hell your the best at info for this

Now ive gotten the Engine guardian set (heavy armor tho).
What would you suggest?
Deltias I would like to start off by saying thank you for all of your guides, they’ve been instrumental in revitalizing my pasion for playing ESO – after I switched from PC to xbox1 and didn’t have the dps counter and other great add ons I found it tough to get back into the game and exponentially harder to make elite builds. Also read from the VR16? guide I read that you were thinking about quitting, stop this blasphemy – You’re too important to this community! and you would be sorely missed.
Sorry for the long read, but I’ve used your DPS DW/2h DK bloody-butcher as a baseline for one of my current build. I’ve been wanting to use a 2 piece (engine, valkyns, bloodspawn, maw (heard its getting 15% movement speed and its crit chance will now scale off your crit chance) I read a response you made to a comment asking about valkyns vs ravager and you said valkyns is probably better. Would the other 3 be better as well? I’d be giving up weapon damage, and gaining either of the other 4 set effects. Thanks for all your time and dedication, it doesn’t go unnoticed – and thanks in advance if you’re able to answer my question. Much appreciated.
That I don’t know, seems like the usefulness has been nerfed for all 2 piece sets. just need more testing.
Hey Deltia, but two-fanged serpent can only be obtained from trials and these swords are bound on pick up
Agreed, only drop from AA or Hel Ra and are BoP. Craft 2 nights silence pieces, nice stamina boost and you can use weapons and traits of choice. Good alternative to two fanged serpent if you don’t have them.
I don’t think the Twice Fanged Serpent set is bought from vendors as your guide suggests.

Have ap to buy 2x v14 rings of cyr light, but questioning if they are still the best buy when I get to v16 when console comes out.
Also, are you above set recommendations taking IC into consideration? Are any if they above sets avail at v16???

I was hoping you could answer two questions. I notice in your builds you love to use Magnus and above mention it as a the best substitution for Worm Cult. Does the chance to negate cost of a spell trump the reduction in spell cost in Seducers set for magica management?
Also, in this guide you mention that Torug’s Pact is a great set to focus on getting for a healer. I haven’t been able to find information on this — does the weapon enchantment cooldown and potency provide help for healers in some way, or is the focus on this set more due to the damage bonuses it offers?
I know that question might be taking this guide slightly out of context — this was more of a “get these in case they disappear” but I hope you can answer my questions.

1) Yes, though Seducers goes up to VR16 and worm cult doesn’t in update 2.2 so I’d side with Seducers.
2) It’s the 2 piece spell power that makes Torug’s good, not the 5 piece.
Heya Delt! Hope all is well with you and yours across the pond! 🙂 Just a quick question regarding “Worms Raiment” set – I bought some Rings of the Worm and a Necklace of the Worm. Then I went to buy a belt and gloves. These are Belt of the Worm Cult and Gloves of the Worm Cult. yet the rings/neck and belt/gloves are saying they are still part of the Worms Raiment set. Are they the same set and can they be worn together? I don’t want to bind them because I spent all my money on them lol >.<
It was changed with one tamriel but the set bonuses are the same yeah.

I am running an Imperial Templar DPS with Relequens (armor), Dreugh King Slayer (jewelry and weapons. Dual wield and bow) and Velidreth in heavy. I only play PvE. I hear I should replace DKS with Two-Fanged Snake. Why would I do that? Thank you.
