Popular YouTuber Ethan Klein shared a video of Twitch CEO Dan Clancy being confronted about the YouTuber’s ban on Twitch. When asked about the situation, Dan refused to comment. The CEO mentioned that Ethan is still on the platform and that the suspension was reversed. Although it’s unclear if the ban was automated, the individual recording the video claimed it wasn’t. Clancy remarked that he had no comment on why the ban occurred.

“Hey Dan, do you have any comment on why you won’t let Ethan Klein stream on your platform?”
Dan responded with:
“He is streaming on the platform, he is.”
The person asks:
“It was not an automatic ban, do you have any comment on that?”
Dan denied any comments:

For those unfamiliar, Ethan Klein was banned on Twitch after rerunning his video criticizing Twitch streamer HasanAbi. Twitch initially banned Klein for 30 days for streaming the infamous “Content Nuke – Hasan Piker” video. However, due to immense backlash, Clancy’s Twitch unbanned the YouTuber after a day. Twitch reportedly banned Klein for “encouraging or glorifying extreme violence.” Ethan has been a longtime critic of Dan Clancy, as the H3 Podcast host has called him out previously for antisemitism.

While Asmon advocated for Amazon’s involvement in Twitch, several fans also called for the same. After the footage went viral on X, several fans commented on their takes on the situation.
